They've Hit a New Low

I'm talking about the Democratic party in the US. One by one, the leaders of the Democratic party along with their shills in the MSM like CNN, MSNBC, etc. have accused former president Trump of being Hitler and that his latest sold out rally at Madison Square Garden in New York was a Nazi rally like the one that took place there in 1939.

So Trump is Hitler and I'm a nazi because I like him. This meme continues to gain momentum. It wasn't just one political leader who mistakenly went too far. For any person to call Trump Hitler and his supporters, nazis, is absolutely despicable. But for political leaders and the main stream media to do so is beyond despicable. They have hit a new low. I don't recall any political leaders in the West ever behaving that way. I'm no fan of Obama, Clintons, Bidens, Harris, Blinken or the rest of them. I feel that they are all guilty of supporting anti-Israel terrorists like Iran. Recall the billions of dollars both in cold hard cash and  sanctions relief that the US (under those leaders I just mentioned) gave to Iran? Yet I still won't call them Hitler or their supporters nazis. 

My parents were Jewish Holocaust survivors. They knew who Hitler was. They knew what a nazi was. They knew what antisemitism is. They were very careful who they called a nazi. I learned from them.

If Trump is a nazi, then we need many more 'nazis'. I won't even bother to attempt to defend this morbid accusation because I don't want to give one iota of legitimization to it. Maybe in their minds, Bibi Netanyahu, the defender of the Jewish nation is also a nazi?

Calling Trump Hitler or calling us nazis does 2 terrible things:

1. It dehumanizes us. That's always the first step in committing a genocide. The irony here is that's exactly what the real nazis did to us prior to murdering six million of us. They began with drawing nasty cartoons depicting Jews with big noses or looking like apes. It ended with Jews and others gassed to death writhing in pain in their last minutes alive. Today the Islamists do the same thing. By calling Trump Hitler, it sends a clear message to the extreme Left to murder Trump. G-d knows they've tried to kill him. He's already taken a bullet. Calling him Hitler or us nazis is bloody dangerous to our well being!

2. It removes any significance of the Holocaust. Calling anyone you happen not to like a nazi or Hitler lowers the severity of who Hitler and the nazis were. It is a slap in the face to every person who died at the hands of the nazis or suffered as a result of their extremely vile behaviour. 

This vile behaviour must stop now and they must reverse course and publicly apologize. I for one am not holding my breath. 

Just because you don't like someone does not give you the right to call them Hitler or a nazi. 

TDSB: Canada's Worst Antisemitic Organization

What will it take for Canadians, especially those who live in Toronto, to recognize that the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) is Canada's worst, antisemitic organization? 

Do we G-d forbid need another Oct 7th style pogrom to wake us out of our stupor? I'll bet you that right now I'm one of the very few Canadians who thinks this. Let me justify my thoughts...

The TDSB is in charge of schooling a quarter of a million students in the greater Toronto area every year. And thanks to an endless stream of unvetted immigrants, this number increases every year. If you weren't aware, Toronto is Canada's largest city with a population of almost 3 million people and the 4th largest city (population wise) in North America. 

The TDSB is the largest school board in Canada and it employs about 40,000 people. It has an operating budget of 3.4 billion dollars (and still somehow manages to operate at a deficit). As such it has a huge influence on our children and its staff. Like in any organization,  the leaders set the direction of the company. If the CEO of a corporation is nefarious, that corp will most likely attract bad people to work there. The converse is also true. If the leader is good, then the organization will attract good employees. The TDSB was led for decades by Colleen Rawlins. She had a history of antisemitic behaviour. When one of the high schools in Toronto allowed anti-Israel / pro-Palestinian demonstrations to take place at lunch on school property and some students and teachers chanted their popular mantra 'From the river to the sea Palestine will be free',  she saw nothing at all wrong with that. I tried to point out that that mantra means 'free of Jews' and that's according to Mahmoud Abbas the Palestinian leader. What happened to keeping all students and staff safe? What happened to teaching our students the basics: reading, writing, arithmetic, etc. I tried to alert our community about this dangerous school board in 2021 in a blog post called In My Own Backyard.

There has been a vile history of antisemitism at the TDSB. Back then  a Jewish school board trustee (Ms Lulka) was censured for calling out an employee for distributing antisemitic flyers to students, parents and staff. You can't make this up.

Back in June, I attended a rally at the board's head office to protest their motion to promote an anti-Palestinian policy whereby anyone opposing pro-Palestinian demonstrations or ideology would be committing a hate crime. Another attempt to provoke us and silence us at the same time. I wrote about it here: Antisemitism Gone Wild.  

More recently a teacher made her Jewish student wear a blue uniform to identify  her as a Jewish oppressor and then organized a trip to a rally for Natives in Canada which of course was hijacked by pro-Pali demonstrators. Instead of leaving the demonstration, students were encouraged to take part in it. I took part in a rally at the TDSB soon afterwards and was warmed to see many people from diverse backgrounds supporting our cause. Of course we were not permitted to speak to the board at their private meeting. When this hit the news, our Premier of Ontario and minister of education admonished the school board to keep politics out of schools and were also ordered to notify all parents prior to any school trips. A prime directive of any school board is the safety of the students. Sending them to any political demonstration certainly defies that. 

Today the school board ignored the order again and is offering an art course on Palestinian Resistance. According to their Palestinian website: 

Palestinian women have played an integral role in resisting the Israeli occupation. Tatreez—an artful embroidery technique with radical roots—is just one of the many tools they have utilized.   Ayah’s mother is one of eight daughters. They lived in Dheisha, a refugee camp located near Bethlehem, where they were displaced from Jerusalem by the Israeli occupation in 1948. There, her grandmother taught each one of her daughters, one needle and thread at a time, how to cross-stitch a mosaic of colors and shapes into various garments. Every combination told a different story about belonging and resistance.

Notice that they themselves call it 'radical'. The TDSB is a hotbed of anti-Israel / antisemitic ideology. It has been so for decades and has been permitted to grow, unchallenged for the most part by all of us.  The TDSB is so rotten that it's beyond fixing. Our politicians clearly fear this gigantic, powerful organization and are loath to punish its directors or in any way interfere with the TDSB's agenda. The TDSB has gotten the message. There are no consequences for their racist behaviour. It needs to be dismantled and replaced from the top down. ASAP! What really hurts is that I know of so many of my fellow Jews who have been or still remain devoted teachers who are forced to put up with this hatred every day. The worst part of course is that entire cohorts of young minds are turned into Jew hating kids right under our noses. Even some Jewish students are buying the lie that Israel is an apartheid state or that the IDF harvests organs from Palestinians. This is the kind of dangerous brainwashing that goes on daily at our schools. Some are worse, some are better. But they are all infected with Jew hate because it comes from the board.

I haven't begun to talk about our other school board, misnomered as the 'Separate School Board'. In Ontario it is the Catholic School Board which sadly has its own history of Jew hatred but perhaps less so than our public school board, TDSB. Why Catholics are awarded their own school board that is funded by the province is beyond me but that is another discussion entirely. 

Rawlins is gone but clearly the board's antisemitic agenda is alive and well.

Kamala, How Dare You!

After the Israelis got the leader of Hamas, Sinwar (let his name be forgotten), VP and president wanna be, Kamala Harris, tried to take credit for his death. How dare she? 

Not only did she have nothing to do with it, she and president Biden were dead against it. They tried their best to prevent Israel from going after Sinwar. Do you recall the recent fight between the Bibi administration in Israel and the Biden administration in the US? Bibi knew that the town of Rafah in Gaza which lies on the Egyptian border, was home to the top commanders of Hamas, a likely place to hide the hostages and was the main route for supplies and terrorists to enter and leave Gaza. The Egyptians were happily paid off to look the other way when military supplies, tunnel building equipment and all sorts of Hamas and supporting personnel were passing freely through their town. Huge tunnels spanning from the Sinai Peninsula underground into Gaza passed thru Rafah. Essentially without cleaning out Rafah, the entire war effort by Israel would have been for nothing. So the minute Bibi announced Israel intentions to clean it out and take it over, Biden, Harris, Blinken and the rest of the current US Democratic administration loudly said: NO, don't you dare enter Rafah!  Their stated reason? Who cares. I know the real reason. They don't want Israel to win the war. Like the war in Ukraine, the huge military complex and other nefarious groups like the WEF are thrilled to see wars, ongoing as long as possible. They want to see people suffer, as many as possible. They gain financially and they gain control of the people of the world.

The Biden and Harris families are as corrupt and compromised as any other major mafia family. Along with the Pelosi's, Clinton's, Obama's and a list too long to mention here.

It was the rank and file Israeli soldiers who finally located and eliminated the coward we know as Sinwar. Not the US and certainly not the Biden/Harris administration. If it was up to them (they certainly tried- they held back arms), they wouldn't let Israel into Rafah so Sinwar and the rest of his cabal would still be running the show out of Rafah! But now that Israel found and killed him, they are trying to take credit for it. What chutzpah!

Just like they warned Bibi not to attack Hezbolla or G-d forbid Iran. Luckily for us and the world, Bibi politely ignored them and successfully attacked both! I say better late than never but of course I can imagine the pressure he faces not only from the Biden administration but from his own people.

After watching that clip we talked about how people like us latch on to incredible people like Erin Molan who say it like it is - straight!

The sad reason for us freaking out (in a good way) when we hear people like her speak courageously and with such moral clarity about our (the Jews) terrible predicament is because there are so few like her who dare to speak that way. As I just said, it takes both moral clarity and courage to speak like that publicly and on TV no less. She and others like her, who aren't Jewish nor are they Israeli, have nothing to gain from doing that. In fact they have plenty to lose. Like their jobs for one. Or worse, they could be removed from social media by their peers, friends or relatives! (can u tell I'm being facetious?)

Believe me it's a lot easier to jump on the anti-Israel train (it's the exact same as the antisemitic train). After all, there are about 2 billion Muslims in the world and only about 16 million Jews. And out of those 2 billion, quite a few (millions) hate non-Muslims and Jews in particular, to the point that they are actively trying to kill us. While out of the 16 million Jews, very few (if any) feel that way about non-Jews. So one really is looking for trouble if they in any way support Israel or Jews. 

I really do hope that decent Americans, both Jews and Gentiles wake up to the very important choice they face right now in their federal election. One is a man so devoted to saving his country from so many insane, anti-American, doomed policies including their anti-Israel policy, that he's taken a bullet. The other is a corrupt, compromised, Marxist, know nothing fool who is happy to throw America under the bus at any opportunity. If you care about America and want her to succeed you shouldn't vote for her. And if you do, you will not only be complicit it turning America into a banana republic, you will also be responsible in helping Israel's enemies to succeed. 

It's Not About the Hostages

There are 3 huge misconceptions going on simultaneously. 

1. The first and most obvious is all this nonsense about a peace deal with Hamas. Hamas does not want peace with Israel, never has and never will. They only care about the Israeli hostages they abducted almost a year ago insofar as the hostages are the best collateral for Hamas's war with Israel and Jews everywhere. As long as they suck us in to believing that they want a deal with Israel (any deal whereby the release of some or all hostages, alive or dead) this breathes more life into their eternal fight with Israel. Sad to say but they've already learned that they can achieve a lot by kidnapping Israelis. They bloody well know where they can get more. The Gilad Shalit hostage deal (1 man in exchange for 1,027 convicted terrorists in prison including Sinwar) helped to prove this to them.  

And if this causes them strife (ie. they have to live in tunnels along with the hostages for months or years) they can handle it. If it means that thousands of Gazans will die in the process, even better for them. It makes for great PR and sympathy for their bogus cause. We often talk of the useful idiots in the West who protest side by side with pro-Hamas demonstrators. But the real useful idiots are actually the Gazans and other Arabs (most call themselves Palestinians although we know that there are no such people). Since they are the ones really suffering at their own hands!

2. This leads me to the second misconception which is the despicable world wide demonstrations calling for a ceasefire by Israel. Note that not one protest ever calls for Hamas, Hezbolla or the other terror groups to stop firing rockets and missiles at Israelis. So clearly their concern over loss of life is disingenuous. If they are truly concerned about Gazans then they should encourage Israel to finish off Hamas as soon as possible. Not only would it be the best bet to free the hostages but it would also free the noose around Gazans living under a horrific Hamas noose. 

As mentioned in point 3 below, most of these demonstrations are sponsored by and initiated by Iran and their proxies and supporters. 

3. The third and far less obvious misconception is that today's protests by the Left in Israel are about the hostages. Almost all the mainstream media tell us that these Israeli protesters blame Bibi for not doing enough to free them. 

This is false. It's not about the hostages! The protests are instigated by extreme leftists who hate Bibi and his right wing coalition. They are initiated and planned by nefarious people and organizations like George Soros, the infamous self hating Jew who have recruited many compromised political leaders like Ehud Barak, Olmert, Lapid, Gantz and others. The anti-Israeli Biden administration, the mullas in Iran, the UN, the WEF and many other governments and far Left organizations are also aiding and financially supporting these protests. Every time a state leader like Trudeau in my country says publicly that Israel is creating a genocide in Gaza, they are helping Hamas and Iran. Every time a world leader like Biden says Bibi is not doing enough to free the hostages, they are helping Hamas and Iran. 

Some of the protesters are well intentioned Jewish Israelis and others living outside of Israel who like me and you, want the hostages freed. But they have been brainwashed to think that if only Bibi made a deal to give Hamas what they want, that would save the hostages. Of course they couldn't be more wrong. As Bibi articulated so well from the beginning, the best chance of releasing them is to attack Hamas with full force. By putting extreme pressure on them (ie. when their lives are on the line) only then might they release the hostages as they try to escape. Holding on to border crossings with Egypt (like Rafah) where all the smuggling by Hamas takes place is absolutely required to reach that goal of defeating Hamas and releasing the remaining hostages. Doing anything else is counter productive. The war would never end and the hostages would continue to languish in the tunnels. 

But the majority of the protesters in Israel simply despise Bibi. Why? Because he wants Israel to remain a Jewish state, not simply one more democratic western style country. That's why he and his party welcome the religious parties into his coalition. Most of the Leftwing protesters (if not all) are not only secular Jews but are anti-Jewish. They despise the Haredim (ultra orthodox Jews) even more than they hate Hamas, Hezbolla, the PA and Iran! 

Today they are protesting against Bibi because they say he's not doing enough to free the hostages. But if you recall prior to Oct 7 they also held huge protests against him and his government. Then the reason was because he wanted to institute supreme court reforms and they were adamantly against it. I can guarantee you that if the hostages were released tomorrow, they would find another reason to protest and demand his resignation. 

Long Live Oct 7!

That's what's being shouted out loud in my country's capital in Ottawa by pro-Hamas demonstrators! Hundreds of demonstrators promoting murder and hate against Jews right in front of Justin Trudeau's office in parliament hill. That's illegal, or so I thought!

When we had the peaceful trucker protest in Ottawa during covid, our PM was quick to denounce them at terrorists because someone saw or claimed they saw a swastika in the crowd. He went as far as arresting the leaders and freezing the bank accounts of anyone who donated to their cause. What does he have to say or do about these Nazi like pro-terrorists (many are not even citizens here)? Silence.

The same response is true for our province's leader (a Conservative no less) Doug Ford and the mayor of Ottawa. They and almost every politician around here are conspicuously silent. 

The police will not act on their own. They are told what to do and what not to do by our politicians. 

Notice how insidious these protesters are. At first they were yelling for a freeze in fighting (the IDF that is) to stop the 'genocide'. Then they shouted to stop Israel from purposely starving millions of innocent Gazans despite Israel often supplying tons of aid in to Gazans but stolen by Hamas. After seeing that they suffered no consequences at all for their insane and illegal behaviour (they attacked Jews, shut down traffic, bridges, universities, businesses, shot at Jewish schools, burned synagogues, terrorized innocent civilians right here in Toronto including tearing open a Jewish MP's office and much more) they are now emboldened to shout via megaphone to our PM and MP's in Ottawa that they absolutely support the murder and torture of 1200 innocent civilians and the taking of 250 hostages into their dark tunnels in Gaza. 

If you are not with us, you are against us. I've said this before: Silence is not an option. Our PM and his supporters are against us!

He also said that Israel is committing a genocide in Gaza. 

I've scolded my own Jewish community many times for being silent or not being active enough. But the truth is that we Jews are such a small minority not just here in Canada but in the world. We comprise only .2 %  of the world's population and about 1.4% of Canadians. Despite our small numbers we are vociferous and actively combat antisemitism wherever we see it. There are hundreds if not thousands of Jewish organizations here in Canada that support Israel and fight antisemitism. Thankfully there are a few non-Jewish organizations that also do the same. But given the demographics, we need them to do more. Gentiles of all religions including non believers and Muslims must speak out loudly and hold our leaders to account. 

We must all demand that our political leaders do their jobs and stop illegal protests in their tracks. Ignoring them sends them a clear message. That they can do what they want and get away with murder.  But I can assure you that it won't be just us who get hurt. It never worked out that way in the past (recall WWII).

So Trump Got Shot

Are you surprised, shocked?

I'm not. In fact I am surprised that it didn't happen sooner.

There are so many people suffering from TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) who want him dead. They are upset that the shooter didn't kill him. Every bloody Democratic leader from President Biden on down has threatened Trump with violence and in so doing, painted a target on his back so that someone finally picked up a rifle and tried to finish him. They all have blood on their hands.

Tell me this: How did a 20 year old loser manage to get on to a white roof and set up a tripod with a sniper rifle within 200 yards of Trump's podium in a well prepared rally where numerous secret service agents and police where on guard? Apparently the security team saw him there and could have easily taken him out prior to him firing a single shot. He managed to fire off 8 shots, killed an attendee and seriously injured 2 others and shot Trump in the ear before the secret service finally put him down. The protocol is to shoot a sniper first and ask questions later. 

And what about the secret service agents who surrounded Trump? One was a woman who was no more than 5 foot 5 inches tall. Trump is about 6 foot 2 and a big man. He needs large people to protect him. Well trained large people that is. The boss of the secret service who was hired by Biden is a Miss Kimberly Cheatle who follows DEI doctrine instead of merit based hiring practises. At the very least, she must lose her job ASAP! After this terrible incident one would expect at least a statement from her apologizing for what happened, promising a full investigation and improvements to their protocols so this doesn't happen again in the future. The agency declined to put out any statement.

Was this an inside job? I doubt we'll ever know for sure. Any investigation done by the current administration will be absolutely useless. They'll probably blame it on Russia (that's their 'go to' story). But what we do know is that this could have and should have been prevented. The Trump administration has always insisted that its secret service team was short people. They needed more and were always fighting with the Biden administration for more security. After all, Trump a former president, is on everyone's radar. He's also the most likely person to become America's next president, like it or not. So by all standards he needs protection. I don't think that too many people are trying to kill Jill Biden who is surrounded by an abundance of secret service agents. I'm sure that Trump has threats on his life almost daily but we are not in the loop so we don't even know about them.

The Biden administration, Democratic party, MSM and the social media giants will do their best to sweep this under the table. They already have. I used Microsoft Bing to search for a photograph of Trump getting shot. It should have come up on the very first page of the search results. But instead there wasn't even a single photo of the assassination attempt. Here's what I got:

I am deeply disappointed by society. Let's not forget Oct 7! I haven't and don't plan to. No less sickening is the overt antisemitism that has exploded around the globe after Oct 7.

Need I state the obvious? If you don't like him, don't vote for him. But please don't kill him!

To me this was simply a miracle that he survived. Any other person who just got shot would be cowering in fear. Not him. He's got courage in spades. And he is one of America's biggest patriots.

Dear President Trump, I wish you a full, quick and painless recovery so you can resume your post as the next US president and make America great again!

BRING THEM HOME!

Antisemitism Gone Wild

Our Toronto District School Board is considering to promote an 'anti-Palestinian' school policy that would consider anyone opposing memes like 'from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free' as anti-Palestinian. In fact anyone opposing pro-Palestinians who wish to replace Jewish Israel with Muslim Palestine as anti-Palestinian hate speech. This is one more tactic to silence us. 

Despite the statistics provided by our police force where antisemitic incidents in Toronto have increased by 300% since last year and has put Jew hate in the top racist spot, way ahead of any Palestinian hate, our school board insists on pushing their narrative to protect their right to demean Jewish students, Jewish teachers and Jews at large. 

The trustees at the school board planned to vote on this policy yesterday evening so we planned a rally in front of the building prior to their meeting. 

I went to the rally with some friends and was thrilled to see hundreds of people (mostly Jews) along with some news reporters and police of course. No politicians showed up. Apparently we are not that important to them.

I’m glad that I went despite the heat. We are in the midst of a severe heat wave right now.

I wrote the following note to the trustees as we were not permitted to speak at the meeting:

Dear TDSB Trustees,

I urge you all to vote no on today’s vote regarding ‘anti-Palestinian racism’. 

We all know that the one group of people in our city and beyond who are really suffering from some of the most vile bigotry are the Jews. 

Prioritizing ‘anti-palestinian’ racism now makes a mockery of the very real racism that Jews are dealing with. 

You must realize that the true goal of this agenda is to demonize Jewish students and teachers at our schools even more than they already are. 

Please vote no, silence is not an option.

It was heart breaking to hear student after student and parent after parent, pleading with the board to do something to combat antisemitism. They complained of being bullied, harassed and attacked. They see ‘kill the jews’ written in the school’s student bathrooms, and worse. The board, director, school principals and often teachers usually don’t bother to respond to the Jewish students or parents  complaints. Or if they do respond it was to scold the Jewish students and parents for having the chutzpa to complain!

Can you imagine being one of a dozen Jewish students at a public school in Toronto that condones Jew hate? Being spit on, thrown stones at, cursed and beat up on a regular basis and absolutely no recourse. Is this not exactly what Germany looked like in the early 1930's?

Seeing and hearing a real live Holocaust survivor gave me hope. He mentioned how during the Holocaust he and the rest of the Jews where he lived had to wear the yellow star of David. Is that where our schools are heading? It sure seems that way.

I have been screaming about our TDSB being home to some of the most pernicious organized antisemitism found anywhere in my great country of Canada! You can find some posts on my blog here . They are the largest school board in Canada and therefore they find themselves in a very lucrative position, vis a vis being able to successfully indoctrinate young children’s minds to hate Jews and Israelis. They’ve had decades to ply their trade and sad to report, that they are so successful, that they’ve been able to silence us (Jews) and even brainwash some of us (Jews) to become self hating Jews. I see so many these days that I can’t keep track. It’s like vermin reproducing themselves at an exponential rate. Just today I found out that Larry Fink (the CEO of Blackrock - a dangerously large and wealthy (net worth in the trillions of dollars) investment firm is Jewish. You know Antony Blinken, Biden’s secretary of state, is Jewish, right? And you do realize, as Biden’s lapdog, it is he who is telling Bibi to back down and take it up the you know what. Can you imagine,  a well educated Jewish man and respected politician is trying to get Israel to commit national suicide? He needs to be struck down by lightning. As do so many others. 

Today my biggest fear is certainly not the terrible antisemitism that is blossoming in my own backyard (Toronto). It’s not Hamas. It’s not Hezbollah. It’s not even a nuclear armed Iran. 

It’s the very real and dangerous woke, left, often secular Jews in Israel, especially those in power, like various MKs, their supreme court, generals, retired generals and politicians (retired or otherwise) and the many self haters outside of Israel who I view as our biggest existential danger. They will do anything to overthrow Bibi’s democratically elected government. They want to do it NOW, in the middle of Israel’s multiple front war!

Very much walking in the same footsteps as the Democratic party and it’s fans, they want Israel to fail in order for them to come in on top and in control. 

We need to stay united. We need to protect ourselves from the evil that surrounds us and the evil that has already managed to get inside our community in Israel and in the diaspora. 

We have had our heads in the sand for far too long and now, especially after October 7, we've finally had a rude awakening. Better late than never!

Bring Them Home!

To All Those People Who Accuse Israel of Committing a Genocide

Practically the entire world is accusing Israel of committing a genocide against the Arabs in Gaza. 

From the Pope to my PM in Canada, President Biden, the UN and almost every state leader and organization. Of course Hamas was first to spread that vicious lie. And the mainstream media along with most governments bought it. 

The Hamas health ministry (an oxymoron if I ever heard one) claims that over 30,000 Gazans have been killed so far. Israel claims that it has killed over 14,000 Hamas members. So right off the top that 30K number should be halved. Of course no one should believe anything that Hamas has to say. Hamas loves it when Israelis die but they are no less in heaven when their own people die.

The far larger point is this: During WWII did we concern ourselves with the number of German civilians who died? Nope! We concerned ourselves with ridding the world of Nazis, period. In war people die. Hopefully most are enemies, some are neutral and some are friendly. This is a war brought on by Hamas and helped by the Arabs in Gaza, some in Israel, some in the territories and orchestrated by Iran. 

Most of the Arabs in Gaza and in the territories side with Hamas and were thrilled with the ruthless beheadings, murder, rape, kidnapping and torture that they did on Oct 7. Are these the people that I should be concerned about their welfare? Hell no!

During any war, did we send in tons of aid to our enemies and promise a ceasefire during their religious holidays? This is what's expected with Israel who is always held to an impossible higher standard than any other country in history.

The aid that is constantly sent in either by truck, ship or air dropped is always received by Hamas. They are in charge in Gaza if anyone forgot. They take what they need. I knew this to be true well before the colonel said so but it was important to hear this from a well respected British officer who had nothing to gain for saying so. 

I therefore have zero concern about the well fare of the Gazans. I know that the IDF will treat them fairly. Contrary to the lies that the US State Dept believed from Al Jazeera that the IDF raped Arab women, I have every reason to believe that if the world kept out of Israel's business, more lives would be saved on both sides and this war would have been over by now. 

My concern is about the hostages who continue to languish in some hell hole in Gaza or elsewhere. 

My concern is about the soldiers who are forced to fight for their lives in tunnels and dangerous small enclaves surrounded by people who hate them and want them dead.

My concern is for the citizens of Israel of which a million are displaced. Many from the south in the areas surrounding Gaza and many are from the north near the Lebanese/Syrian borders who were forced out of their homes months ago due to the constant barrages of rockets and terrorists from Hamas and Hezbollah. 

I'm concerned for the Israeli economy which is suffering from the lack of workers since most are either fighting in the war or are helping the IDF in various ways. Thanks to the many volunteers from throughout the world who go to Israel to help pick the fruit, package food for the soldiers and help distressed Israelis.

I'm concerned for so many Israelis that are suffering from wounds both physical and mental. They are broken and need healing. Again thanks to many organizations throughout the world that are helping them to live normal lives again.

If the Gazans want to ease their suffering they should help the IDF to locate Hamas and the hostages. The war would end far sooner. 

Despite the constant calls for Israel to stop going after Hamas (I hear this on my local Toronto TV news station almost every 5 minutes!) and calling out Israel for committing a genocide, Israel and her supporters throughout the world need to ignore that BS and must cheer Israel on to complete her mission. Rid the world of Hamas, Hezbollah and the Iranian leadership and save the hostages. 

As the PM of Israel, Bibi, rightly said: The best way to free the hostages is to go after Hamas. Israel needs to find new allies ASAP as it's clear that the current Biden administration is not on her side. But in the worst case, Israel can do this on her own with God's help. He is our best ally!

It's Time to Outlaw Their Demonstrations

The pro palestinian demonstrators have lost their right to protest! 

In a democracy like ours in Canada, everyone has a right to peaceful protest. But they have demonstrated to us that they are not interested in peaceful protests. In fact 95% of their demonstrations for the past few decades have been anything but. How much more must the Jewish and pro Israel community be forced to endure? Their protests are designed to intimidate and harass us. To instil violence and to commit violence.  It's fair to say that we've given them every opportunity to prove that they are responsible citizens who can demonstrate peacefully. They've proven to us in spades that they cannot! It's time to outlaw their demonstrations. Arrest each one who defies the order and lets get our country back. 

Even apolitical Canadians are forced to put up with their insane protests which have impacted our entire country. Just about every city has been affected by them. Shoppers at the Eaton's Centre during Christmas were forced to listen to their rants, shouted by megaphone inside the mall 'From the River to the sea, Palestine will be free'. What a treat for families looking to buy gifts for their children to hear. It's not just the volume, it's the interference from doing what you want. They blocked certain stores so that shoppers were not able to access them. 

Perhaps you wish to pray at your house of worship? I would have thought that holy places would be exempt from such protests. Nope. Not in Canada. The other day a scary group of demonstrators, harassed Jews in a suburb of Toronto attempting to go to their synagogue. 

At the same time in Montreal, demonstrators shouted in Arabic 'Death to the Jews'. I guess our hate laws only apply if the threats are in English.

Patients at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto had to be scared out of their wits when demonstrators climbed the walls and waved large palestinian flag along with their usual mantras. 

In my mostly Jewish suburb of Toronto, we had to put up with large demonstrations that blocked our access in and out of our neighbourhood for months until the police finally ordered them to shut down their demonstration. The police came down on horseback, it was that bad! I blogged about this here.

In fact it's gotten so awful that our mainstream media barely report these demonstrations. For years they have taken over our city hall to protest every weekend. This photo below is from 2021 and it's ongoing. 

They have managed to normalize their behaviour. We can't let them, albeit it might be too late. Do you want to go for a nice skate at the city hall skating rink? Think again. You might be harassed by the demonstrators who will call you out and threaten you if they think you are Jewish or stand for Israel. 

Here's a short video of our mayor's attempt at a free skating event there that was interrupted by the demonstrators who went on the ice and via megaphone shouted 'While you're skating bombs are dropping'. She pleaded with them to leave by trying to appease them (she feels their pain). You can guess that it didn't work.

Friends complained about visiting our amazing art gallery downtown when all of a sudden dozens of protesters entered the gallery and stopped my friends from enjoying the art and instead forced them to watch the demonstrators parade around menacingly with flags, megaphones and throwing their flyers all over the place. 

Just the other day our Prime Minister invited Italy's leader over here for a visit. But due to the threatening gang of pro palestinian demonstrators, he cancelled the visit. Back to Italy she went. I can only imagine what she must have been thinking. 

We can't and shouldn't run a country this way. The more intimidating they become, the more we must be as well. In order to maintain a peaceful and freedom loving country we must enforce our laws and be more aggressive than they are. Arrests, deportations and outlawing their demonstrations are a must do, right now!

How Did We Get Here?

This is what I'm seeing in the news on a daily basis in Toronto, Canada:

Mount Sinai is a world renown hospital in downtown Toronto that was founded by the Jewish community here. Recently pro-Palestinian demonstrators have scaled the walls there and shout and wave their flags (who cares about sick or dying patients). 

In fact for about a year or longer, anti-Israel protestors have taken over my city and are in the news every single day!

The other day our 2nd in command (Ms. Melissa Lantsman) Conservative party member of parliament who is proudly Jewish and supports Israel loudly and lives in a suburb of Toronto, got her office vandalized by anti-Israel (pro-Hamas) thugs. That barely made the news but here's a photo of her office:

In a previous blog post (here) I talked about an ongoing, nasty anti-Israel protest that was taking place in my mostly Jewish neighbourhood on Avenue Rd where it passes over hwy 401. The protesters came from distant places. None of them lived in my neighbourhood. They came here because it was an easy target where there was a large audience. Thousands of cars and trucks drive along this main artery in Toronto. There are no embassies or institutions of any kind here. Just a quiet Jewish neighbourhood who they thought that they could easily intimidate. When people like me went there to counter protest, the police showed up to separate us. They also closed traffic so that we who live in that neighbourhood could no longer access the highway or use Avenue Rd, another main access to get downtown. Here is a photo of a cop passing on coffee to one of the protesters. Notice the bus behind him which the police used to stop traffic in the area. 

Eventually after enough of us protested ourselves and complained loudly to our politicians and the police, the police stopped the protests at that location. But there are thousands of other protests going on every day throughout Canada as I highlighted earlier.

Attacks on Jewish individuals, synagogues, businesses and at the population at large seem to be increasing at an exponential rate. Years ago people could stick their heads in the sand and avoid knowing about it but today no one can avoid seeing it or hearing about it in the news. 

So how did we get here?

The vast amount of antisemitism that we are witnessing today comes from Muslims. One of Islam's main tenets is to make the entire world Muslim. While some religions proselytize  (Judaism does not), some do it to an extreme level. Islam makes conversion as simple as saying a few words in Arabic out loud and presto: you're a Muslim! The conversion process in Judaism is long and takes a lot of effort. You really have to want to be Jewish to even attempt to convert.

Muslims are not content to practise their religion where they live. History certainly backs up that claim. That's in part why many of them immigrate to all corners of the world. More recently, they have had their eye on the West. They were dying to take us over but knew that they couldn't. 

Less than a hundred years ago, oil was discovered in Saudi Arabia. The US was there to help develop it. Since then trillions of dollars have been made by them and other Muslim states like Iran, Qatar, UAE and others. They made so much money that they didn't know what to do with it. So finally they had the means to spread their dangerous ideology in the West. They injected billions of dollars into our institutions, both private and public. In particular they bribed our university administrators to take their money in exchange for changing their curriculums to include a pro-Muslim one. With that came demands to hire Muslim presidents, board members and professors. Politicians were bribed and threatened as well. More and more Muslims from all over the world emigrated to the West (Europe and North America). 

They were patient. They followed their imams directions. Have patience. Have many children. Go live amongst the vile Westerners but in time we will take them over.

Is that time now?

I just returned from 5 weeks in Miami Beach, Florida. The first major sign I saw when we drove in via the main artery hwy I-95 was a large "I Stand with Israel" sign. It truly warmed my heart. The Miami area has a large Jewish population and I felt totally safe there. I didn't see a single Palestinian flag nor did I even hear of any pro-Palestinian demonstrations on the news there. Not once!

In contrast, when we crossed the border back into Canada we needed to buy gas and supplies so the first store we stopped in had Arabic writing on it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against Arabs owning stores in Canada. But our current political leaders in Canada from our PM to my mayor in Toronto have an anti-Israel, anti-Jewish bias. The current immigration policy by Trudeau is to allow as many Muslims into our country as fast as he can. They both can't wait to count these new votes.

When he said that Israel was committing genocide on the Gazans for having the chutzpah to wipe out Hamas after their brutal attack on innocent Israelis, he's given a green light to all of the vile Islamists who live here and others who support them to do as they wish to us. 

Therefore we must defeat him and his Liberal party any way we can and as soon as possible.  

Some countries in Europe who led the way to Islamisize their states are learning the hard way that contrary to Obama's BS that 'Islam is the religion of peace', it is not! Their people have had enough and want no more Muslim immigrants. They don't want their daughters raped or their family members murdered. They are tired of the ongoing theft, attacks and abuse state wide. 

The ongoing demonstrations here in Toronto are costing us millions of dollars every year and the price tag is going up. For almost every day for the past year or so, the pro-Palestinian demonstrators (I use that term for simplicity but know that there is no such people) have been all over our city hall downtown along with of course our well paid police. I'm glad that I went to Florida because I saw with my own eyes that Muslims have not taken over the world just yet. There is hope. I'm optimistic that with G-d's help they will be defeated. Not just in Israel but here too. 

 

Are We Outnumbered or Just Outvoiced?

It seems that I made up yet another word: Outvoiced. Do you recall my earlier words: 2 facism ? (not to be confused with fascism.) 

Our world seems to be growing more dangerous by the minute. The woke Leftists have partnered with Islamists and have created a most toxic climate to raise our children. Logic and reason have been thrown out the door and replaced with sometimes the most obvious insane ideas and sometimes with more subtle evil. Sad to say but many, perhaps most of our kids have been indoctrinated already by this Leftist ideology. While most of us on the Right have been asleep at the wheel, the wheels of the Left never stopped turning. That ideology has infected all schools from kindergarten up to university, all institutions both government, private and charitable organizations, all media from which we used to rely on to get accurate news and all this is happening at record pace in every single country in the world !

So where are we today? Is it too late to turn things around? Have we lost the fight and going down for the count? Or do we still have a chance to make the world right?

I like to use nature as a good example of what happens when we do wrong and what happens when we do right. One can look at a little micro environment perhaps one in your very own neighbourhood. It could be your own backyard. Or maybe a place that you visited many times over a long period of time. 

Who hasn't had a neighbour who's yard is a complete mess. Motors, tires and other junk strewn all over the lawn. The grass and weeds 3 feet tall? Skunks and raccoons taken over the place. Broken glass. If they have dogs, dog pooh never picked up. Fleas, rats and other vermin. I've seen that many times and I'm sure I'm not alone. But I've seen what happens when new people move in and in short order clean up the place. Don't get me wrong, I'm not necessarily in love with meticulously groomed yards, but some semblance of cleanliness and order - yes!

As an avid hiker and fly fisherman, I adore the pristine places I've been too. Likewise I'm heartbroken when I see garbage thrown about in those places. I recall numerous times when I've hiked deep into the forest near my cottage in Muskoka, thinking that perhaps I'm the first human being who's walked there. Only to find a piece of an old rusted car lying in the bush.

But nature, like humanity is able to overcome almost any disaster, given a chance. I've seen polluted rivers that I thought were dead forever, come back to life. The Don river that runs right through Toronto is one such example. When I was a teenager the stench from that river before it dumped its nasty self into Lake Ontario in downtown Toronto, was nose numbing. Today it actually holds fish. Huge salmon and rainbow trout migrate their way from the lake up the river every year. We've still got a far way to go to clean it up but in the past few years I've spotted a cray fish in that river near where I live and even a mink!

People are no less resilient. Given a chance we can reclaim our proper places in the world. We all know of people who have overcome adversity despite all odds.  

So too can we wake ourselves out of our deep slumber and challenge others to do so as well. We have to make a statement with our lives. We cannot perpetually outsource the running of our world to others because if we do, the 'others' will do what's best for them, not for us. This is guaranteed!

I think that today the people on the Right, that is the reasonable, logical, conservative minded folk who follow the Judeo-Christian model of living, still outnumber the woke Left. 

After events like October 7 in Israel we witnessed not only the sub-human evil that exists in many Muslims but also the vile antisemitism that continues to persist in the West. 

We cannot afford to sit back and watch as our world continues its downward fall. Nor can we behave like sheep and follow corrupt leaders and meaningless chants. Or look at shiny new objects that distract us from things far more important that we should be considering for our immediate and long term welfare. 

We can't just wish for peace, we must fight for it. Israel is doing just that and we must support her!
