Can something good come out of my government honouring a nazi?

The speaker of our House of Commons in Canada (a Liberal) invited a Ukrainian nazi to parliament when the PM of Ukraine, Zelensky, was invited to beg us for more money and arms. This 98 year old Ukrainian nazi was given a standing ovation by everyone there! He was called a Ukrainian hero and a Canadian hero. Since then, thanks to organizations like B'nai Brith and the Simon Wiesenthal Center and others, have told our government that the man was a nazi, a fact that he himself is proud of and was not hiding. A fact that would have taken 10 minutes to discover had anyone bothered to try.

This incident created an international debacle and is yet one more mistake that our Trudeau administration is guilty of. Can we fire his ass already? The speaker of the house finally resigned yesterday after admitting his mistake by not vetting this man. 

I decided to write a letter to the National Post about this as follows:

Dear Editor,

Besides the resignation of the speaker, hopefully something good will come out of this. It already has. Canadians are learning very quickly that we have a nazi problem in Canada. How bad is it? Well it’s bad enough that a nazi gets honoured in Canada’s parliament and received a standing ovation from everyone there (Liberals and Conservatives) including our PM and Ukraine’s PM. Both of whom are corrupt and dangerously foolish. 

But this nazi problem is not new. Many nazis escaped Europe after WWII and snuck into Canada. It wasn’t so hard. After all under Mackenzie King, the credo ‘none is too many’ meaning no Jews allowed even after surviving the worst human Holocaust in recent times, was the feeling held by many Canadians at the time. 

As Trudeau might have just learned (his pal Zelensky certainly knows this), not all nazis were German. Certainly not all antisemites were nazis. Ukraine has a very dark history of some of the vilest antisemitism in her short history. I suggest that as punishment for the entire house clapping for this ‘gentleman’ (the term used to describe the Ukrainian Waffen SS nazi by my pathetic Trudeau boot licker MP Ya’ara Saks) must study the historical details of Babi Yar. That illustrious event happened in a  ravine in the center of Kiev where almost 34,000 Jews were shot and killed by Germans and Ukrainians (nazis) in a ravine in just 2 days during WWII. A record for mass murder by gun shots that as far as I’m aware hasn’t since been broken. 

My hero Simon Wiesenthal said that he would never step foot in Canada (this was decades ago) because of our refusal to prosecute and extradite or hang all these nazis who moved here illegally back then. I think he wrote that Canada has the highest # of nazis per capita. Today Ukraine has the highest # of nazis per capita. Zelensky has helped to legitimize them in his parliament and in his armed forces yet Trudeau, marching under orders from the WEF, continues to follow his unhinged script that we must continue to send arms and money to Ukraine until Russia loses the war. The trouble is that Russia won’t lose the war and has been winning the war every day since the war began. It’s AOK for Canadians to suffer so that Trudeau gets a pat on the head from George Soros and his vile son. 

I’m praying that this Ukrainian nazi be extradited immediately to any country that has the balls to put him on trial and finish him off. I heard that Poland might be interested but I would prefer Israel do it. Poland was just as cursed as Ukraine as far as antisemites and nazi sympathizers go (ask any Holocaust survivor if you can still find one). Should this happen, this would send a message to all the nazis that are still living comfortably in our beautiful country, that it’s not over for them just yet. 

Meanwhile I was listening to the Gerry Agar show and was surprised to hear that Gerry wasn’t aware of the statues in Mississauga and in BC, that depict Ukrainian nazis as heroes!  Statues of real Canadian heroes are being torn down, street signs are being renamed all over the place for in many case a negative perception by wokesters, yet the statues of real, easily verifiable nazis remain standing?  Tear them down already!

Don't Fall for Vivek Ramaswamy

Lately this well spoken young man of Indian decent is all over the MSM and is presented as the US’s best option for their next president.

I’ve heard many of my colleagues praise him in depth.

Let me tell you my thoughts.

Vivek reminds me of how they presented Obama early on. As a cool black dude shooting hoops and smoking pot and sold him as a bright young man who can bring the US back on the road to success. If you dug deep into Obama’s background (which wasn’t easy mind you, since he had most of the negatives about him scrubbed off the internet) you would’ve seen many red flags. 

The same is true with Vivek. He is presented as a cool, bright, successful brown young man who will get the US back on track and can play tennis with his shirt off. I see him as the same smooth talking snake oil salesman that Obama was. He is a plant from the Left who is being used as both a distraction from Trump as well as a way to siphon off votes away from Trump. His stance on Israel is disturbing. He said that the US should eventually cut off aid to Israel!

I myself have said that I wish the US would stop all aid to the Middle East. None to Israel, Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, the Gulf States and all other Arab nations. Israel is more than capable of defending itself as long as her enemies are not being supplied massive amounts of aid (both militarily and monetarily) by the US. But Vivek did not make that his focus.  If he’s so smart, why doesn’t he publicly acknowledge that Israel is the US’s most dependable and important ally? He could have said that the US is suffering economically and needs to draw down on aid to all of its allies but he focused just on Israel. 

He lied about accepting a student grant from Soros. He claimed he was poor and needed the money. He was already rich at the time he entered law school. He then scrubbed the internet to remove any connections to the Soros connection. Read more on this here.

He currently defends the unprecedented and illegal attacks on President Trump. But  mark my words. He'll eventually throw Trump under the bus. Much like Obama initially defended Israel, he too threw Israel under the bus and hard!

Don’t fall prey to the uniparty’s snow job on Vivek. 

G-d Gave Us a Brain and Heart, Don't Mix Them Up!

The heart is for love and the brain is for thought. Please don't mix them up. 

These days I often see that many people are definitely using both organs interchangeably. 

Thanks to technology we now have the ability to watch wars in real time. Prior to the war in Vietnam, we were not privy to see and hear exactly how wars played out. We didn't get to see people shot at close range, hear their cries or watch body parts flying into the air after a bomb exploded. As with all tools, technology can be used for good or bad depending on the people using them. 

It's very easy to edit videos or photoshop photographs nowadays. In the simplest case one only needs to remove parts of a video to destroy any important context and thusly prove a lie. 

We've seen that time and again in Pallywood. That's the Palestinian version of Hollywood whereby they have actors pretending to be injured or dead and blaming the IDF for their fake injuries or deaths. Of course there are always professional photographers at the scene of the crime (how opportune!). They were part of the Pallywood film crew. The PA spends millions of dollars on this. They pay the actors, the film crew, they have expert makeup artists (complete with gallons of fake blood and bandages), etc. They do this because it works.

And why does it work? Because so many of us, are using our hearts to evaluate the facts instead of using our brains. All it takes is a photo of an Arab child lying in a pool of (fake) blood with a (fake) IDF soldier standing over him in full military gear. Of course images like these are designed to pull at our heart strings. Evil people figured this out hundreds of years ago. But now with the advancement of technology and the high speed internet, the Pallywood style news fills the main stream news media faster than a comet. 

Along with this are the PR firms and expert advisors to leaders all over the world. They can take a tired, broken, empty fool and make him out to be a courageous leader. They have been doing this with President Biden for a while now. While many of us haven't been fooled, many are and continue to be. 

PA leaders like the late Arafat (may his name be forgotten) or their current leader Abbas, are made out to be strong, heroic military leaders with limitless courage. After all, they are forced to stand up to the mighty nazi like IDF with tanks while their forces (often young children) are using only rocks to fend off the bad guys. 

Do you remember when the terrorist leader Arafat was invited to speak at the UN? He wore his standard (fake) army uniform complete with a gun holster. I think they made him remove his gun. He accused Israel of harvesting organs from captured arabs and a myriad of other insane lies. He begged the world for money which he mostly pocketed and he pleaded with his Muslim brothers to continue to attack the Jewish state at all costs (even when it meant certain death to young, ignorant, Arab youths). And most of the world applauded him. Again when he finally died, almost every world leader attended his funeral and hailed him as a virtuous leader seeking justice for his people and peace (oy vey!).

Images from many decades prior, of fedayeen (Arab militias) are portrayed as brave soldiers despite them being cowards, shooting innocent Israelis citizens from a distance while the Israelis are working on their fields. 

Here's a shot of Arafat doing what he did best: Spread lies. But he looks so respectable though, right? He can't be a bad man because he's even wearing glasses! And he's even wearing a medal of sorts.

Oh my, he looks like a real hero doesn't he? Very down to earth. He could leave Ukraine but no, he risks his life every day to help defend his poor country. And all he wears is the same army T-shirt. What a humble and noble guy. 

He and his masters have certainly studied how Pallywood works and he is following exactly in Arafat and Abbas's footsteps. Act and look like a hero. Pretend to care for your people. Beg the world for money.  Make sure to be seen on the MSM whenever and wherever possible. Accuse his enemies of all sorts of lies. Push the world to help him defeat his enemies using guilt. Amass as much wealth as possible and as quickly as he can. Hold his own people hostage to be used as pawns by him and his pals. 

I have warned in the past to not be lured in by the MSM, governments or other nefarious organizations or individuals. Use your brains to do your own fact checking instead of looking at an image and reading a bogus headline. The simple fact is that the Left controls the MSM and most governments. So their messaging cannot and must not be trusted. Whether it's the Left in my country, Canada, the US or in Israel or anywhere for that matter. 

Recall the al-Dura hoax whereby the Arabs in Gaza claimed that the IDF shot and killed an Arab boy seen with his father in the middle of a shoot out between the IDF and Arab terrorists. Here is the photo that's been seen around the world and is even on stamps and reproduced on murals:

This one image propelled the 2nd intifada in Israel which led to many dying and injured on both sides. 

With the proliferation of AI (artificial intelligence), false narratives can be created by keystrokes on a computer. These bogus news stories will and already are, filling the news waves. We must be ever more careful when we read or watch the 'news' as it will become much more difficult to discern fact from fiction. I urge you not to come to quick judgements before assessing all of the facts. 

I've seen this happen time and again. People start to read and think for themselves but then they see an image out of context and suddenly they reverse course. It's easy to use your heart to push you in any direction. Then you become a feather in the wind that blows in any direction. Please don't. Use your brain to think and your heart to love. 

 

The Race for the Mayor of Toronto

For my international friends and relatives or anyone unfamiliar with this race, let me start with explaining who's in the race.

There are over 100 candidates running for this super important job,  including a dog.  I doubt that a single Canadian citizen can name you more than 10 candidates. I certainly can not. 

Since Toronto is the largest city in Canada and has one of the largest economies of all cities in North America by some standards, the mayor is a very powerful position. 

We just had a municipal election last year and John Tory won again. But he didn't come close to lasting his 4 year term this time because of a scandal that was exposed. He had an affair with one of his young female staffers and resigned about 6 months into his term. Personally I don't care too much about that as long as it was truly consensual.  But since he knew he was having that affair while he was running for mayor last year and since he knew that if his secret got out, he would resign, then I feel that he must pay a consequence. Elections cost millions of dollars which he just wasted. In any case I wasn't a fan of his at all. I will never forget what happened under his watch in 2021 when tens of thousands of anti-Israel protesters took over downtown Toronto looking to hurt Jews or any Israel supporter. Despite the covid lockdown (another thing he supported vigorously) he, other political leaders and our MSM kept quiet about it. It remains Toronto's best kept secret. I blogged about it here.  So good riddance Mr. Tory. 

According to the polls, Olivia Chow (aka Holy Chow) is the front runner. She is a prominent member of our far left NDP party. She used to be a member of parliament (MP) for that party and then served as a Toronto city councillor. She ran for mayor last time but lost. As you might guess by her name, she is Chinese. Her English sucks. Honestly it hurts my ears to hear her speak. 

As a far left leader some of her policies are: less cops, more 'safe' drug sites (these are city run places that offer free drug kits for addicts be it heroin or most other illicit drugs), allow homeless people to take over our streets and parks, tax, tax and more tax, free low income housing and other common woke policies. In other words, if she becomes our mayor, our city which already is in decline will look like San Francisco or Vancouver in no time at all. 

Because of her previous positions and her late NDP leader husband, Jack Layton, her name has a strong recognition with the public. That is, most people recognize her name but few know what she stands for. 

I don't put much faith in polls anymore. Because they have become political instruments instead of honest tools to monitor the voters. Since the polls have her way ahead of the pack and since the MSM continues to quote the pollsters 24/7 one would think that no one else has a chance so many on the right are apathetic. They won't bother voting. Others on the right will wait until the last minute and vote for the right wing candidate who according to the latest poll is in second place. So rather than voting for the candidate they really want, they will be manipulated to vote for someone else. 

I strongly urge you to vote for who you really want. It shouldn't be that complicated. 

Anthony Fury

Since I am both opinionated and vociferous, I will provide you with a recommendation. Anthony Fury. He was a journalist. He was never a politician and does not act like one. He lacks the presence of one.  He is soft spoken, calm and makes his policies based on solid right wing, common sense values. Family first, certainly before drug addicts. He has a family and like some of us (me, for example) was born and raised in Toronto and watched it decline. He knows that if holy Chow gets in, it'll be game over. He wants small businesses to succeed in Toronto and knows that if they succeed, it will help turn the city around. As the economy gets better, there will be less homeless, more people will be employed, the city will get safer and cleaner, etc. He is the exact opposite of holy Chow. He wants to hire 500 new police officers and ensure that some will go back to being beat cops. Police who used to walk around the neighbourhoods, especially the dangerous ones. 

A dear friend and faithful reader of my blogs suggested that I check him out about a month ago. I watched a video of him being interviewed by one of my Canadian heroes, a brilliant clinical psychologist who made international fame by fighting University of Toronto where he taught when they insisted that the staff use the latest LGTBQ pronouns to address the students or else. His name is Dr. Jordan Peterson and he chose 'or else'. Dr. Peterson endorsed Anthony Fury. I was sold right then. But later I watched a video of Fury talking about the exponential rise of antisemitism in Toronto.  'Why does the Jewish community have to pay millions of dollars a year to protect their synagogues and other Jewish or Israeli events? That's what the police should be doing. ' I had never heard another mayoral candidate ever say anything like that. I don't even recall our large Jewish organizations pushing our mayor to do that. My daughter and her family (her husband, 18 month old twins and a dog) were on the way up to our cottage last weekend. They were driving along on the highway when some nutcase ran into them causing them to bounce off one guardrail and then another.  It was a miracle that they all survived. The babies are fine. My daughter and her husband have severe neck and back pain plus PTSD and now have to deal with having their car written off plus a million other things. My wife and I help them bathe the children because it's hard for them to bend down and do it. Jamal, the driver along with his other young friends who crashed into my daughter's family claimed that someone ran into him. Thankfully there were many witnesses who watched him drive erratically  and knew he was an accident waiting to happen. In a couple of years when this finally reaches our overburdened court system, he'll get off with a slap in the face. 

I blame this on our pathetically incompetent and destructive PM, Trudeau.  He insists on letting in some of the worst human garbage into our beautiful country. His love affair with nefarious Muslims has been clear from day one. He keeps the good ones out though. Thanks to him and other political leaders like him, our big cities, especially Toronto has become a dangerous shit hole. Sorry not sorry for the language. 

To be clear, I like immigrants. That's who built this country. Hard working, law abiding immigrants like my Holocaust survivor parents who despite arriving here with just the clothes on their backs, who never took a dime from our government. The crap coming into our country, both legally and illegally scare me and should scare you too.   

I begged people to not vote for Trudeau many times. The people did not listen to me. I'm now begging you to vote for Anthony Fury. Or else this city will become even more dangerous. 

Of course the odds are against him. The MSM here is almost 100% Left leaning so they despise him and either slanderously attack him whenever possible or ignore him and keep  him out of the debates and the news. Most of the rest of the candidates are busy virtue signalling to get votes. So are the MSM, saying things like 'Toronto will finally have its first female Asian mayor, hooray!" This follows PM Trudeau's meaningless, virtue signalling meme 'Diversity is our strength'. He can't wait to see her get in. Please don't complain to me later, when bad things happen to you or your family. Better yet, vote for him now before it's too late. Thanks for listening.

My Disappointment in Humanity

A friend of mine sent me a wonderful podcast from Dr. Gad Saad about President Trump's indictment. I urge you to listen to him. It inspired me to write this blog post.

The Indictment of Donald Trump - The End of the United States?

What so disappoints me is the majority of the world’s population who are either on the Left but not extremists or in the center or even to the right of center who refuse to take a stand on this, very sad day in US history. 

They either go about their business and ignore the calamity that is taking place in front of their eyes. Or even worse, they are ok with it. 

The extreme Leftists and various other nefarious groups who are neither Left or Right but just plain evil, of course disappoint me but less so than the masses I referred to above. There will always be evil people who are hell bent on destroying the world in order to, in their minds, elevate them in some way. (ie. they will get richer, get more powerful, etc.).

Someone in the gym wanted to get into a discussion with me about this the other day. She was obvious on the Left. Normally I’m happy to have a civilized discussion on politics of any sort. The usual debates with these type of people center around why I like and support Donald Trump. They just can’t for the life of them understand why I (the cool, guitar playing, pickle ball playing, artist, fly fisherman and reptile lover) like Mr. Orange man.

But these days I'm not into having those 'friendly' discussions/debates. In previous blogs I asked out loud, why am I forced to become Donald Trump's defender? There were a million things I'd rather be doing, believe me. 

Today as Dr. Saad said, the US has definitely morphed into a typical Banana Republic. Actually I stated this after the last election fiasco whereby the election was stolen. I even predicted that so many on the Left can't wait to see their former president hand cuffed in his underwear and grabbed from his home in the middle of the night screaming. 

Any honest human being who is able to remove themselves from their emotional hatred of a person because of that person's personality,  would be able to identify a serious problem here. 

For the first time in US history, a former US president who is running to be president again in the next election is being charged with a felony without even mentioning what the charge is! There are so many problems with the indictment that I won't bother describing them here. You can surely find them on other internet sites. I'll just mention this little tidbit: The organization that's in charge of keeping elections legitimate, passed on charging President Trump on anything.

But this didn't stop an extreme Leftist Democrat, attorney general from New York who was funded by George Soros (yes his name appears in many of my blogs lately) from charging the former president on what amounts to be a possible book keeping error. 

So back to my Trump hating friend in the gym. She declared that she didn't like him for his policies and chose being 'pro-choice' as a policy she's in favour but Trump was not. To shut her down I simply asked her if she was in favour of the Covid mandates that required every citizen to get the vaccine. I guessed that she'd say yes and she did. I said I'm also pro-choice. What most progressive women say: My body, my choice. (ie. if I want to have an abortion, I will). So I told her the same thing regarding the jab. My body my choice. I tried to show her what a hypocrite she was. But I did that to simply end the discussion. 

You see, now is not the time to debate such things. Now is the time to stand up for what once was one of the greatest countries in modern day history, the USA. Trying to lure me in to defending Donald Trump now on any policy is beyond insulting. Very similar to attending a funeral of a good person and someone is dying (excuse the pun) to tell you something bad that the dead person might have done. Or maybe a better analogy: before saving someone's life you throw out your hand but before grabbing their hands you ask them if they are sorry for some stupid thing they might have done. Simply the wrong time and place.

So, yes I'm very disappointed in Humanity right now. Regardless of how things turn out (whether or not Trump wins in court), the damage is done. By letting this clown in NY charge the former president, the US devalued itself into a Banana Republic. This is what our enemies do all the time with their political opponents.  Of course this was all done under the watchful eyes of the Biden administration. The reason is simple and obvious: They knew they had no case but did it to try to abort Trump's candidacy as president in the upcoming elections. 

To put it another way, had he not thrown his hat into the game as a Republican nominee, this insane charge would never have happened.

So to humanity, go on your merry way for now and ignore how your country is being destroyed and with it goes the rest of the world. Maybe one day after the US becomes a full on dictatorship like North Korea, you might want to kick yourself for being silent now. What you don't get is that what is happening to Donald Trump now can and will happen to you sooner or later unless you stop this now. 

 

 

Is the attack of a religious couple in Tel Aviv by protesters a sign of End of Days?

I must apologize up front for this lengthy blog post but I do have a lot to say.

Did you hear about the vicious attack by Jews on a religious couple in Tel Aviv? The Jews were part of the demonstrations.

According to our sages, Jew on Jew violence is one of many terrible things that could happen during End of Days. 

It’s bigger than that. Man on Man violence including children vs parents, etc. Not to plagiarize my blog name but the world will be upside down. One time good nations will become evil and evil may do good. We see that happening today (the US stands out as such an example). 

Letting the worst US president of all time bring the country down to its knees while trying to put one of the best US president's in jail.

Replacing the most sought after currency (US dollar) with one of the least valued currencies from China! (Oh boy!)

Men become women and women men. 

An Israeli hero was duly elected to be the leader of the Jewish Nation. A nation which you all well know is constantly facing existential threats from all of its many enemies. Yet he continues to be constantly hounded by his political foes and other nefarious organizations for years about every possible issue. Some are made up charges, some are real issues. But together they form a dangerous distraction for him (Bibi) and his coalition and their military leaders who are in charge of keeping Israel safe. 

In short, it has become increasingly hard for good people to discern the truth. 

I see this as the biggest problem facing us. Well intentioned people will be (are) sucked in to believing all sorts of  lies and nonsense. Supporting the Ukrainians at all costs (WW3) is such an example. The demonstrations, etc. happening in Israel supposedly over judicial reform is another example. 

Some of you are probably wondering why I mention the End of Days. Has Leon suddenly lost his mind? He used to stick to political, geopolitical or cultural events that often had to do with antisemitism. May I remind you again that I consider myself to be a Jewish activist (among other things). Of all things Jewish, the concept of End of Days is quite an important and serious one. But one that is barely talked about by the typical Jew on the street. Orthodox Jews understand this concept quite well (far better than I). Some religious Christians do as well. 

If we can celebrate Passover and understand its importance and meaning (and most of us do), then we can certainly contemplate this concept. As I mentioned before the End of Days is a period of time that will precede the coming of the Messiah. I keep hearing that the Moshiach is at the door.  Based on how I see the world right now, it all makes perfect sense. We could well be in End of Days!

I believe that things will get incrementally ugly (like the frog in the slow boiling pot of water) until finally all of us get the message. 

Let me make a case of exactly this...

Last night I attended an event at a local synagogue whereby they brought  a bright Israeli, to talk about what’s going on in Israel (judicial reform/demonstrations) in a supposed non-partisan way. I went as an observer, not to learn anything new as I am already well informed on the issue. I see how so many get easily distracted by unrelated issues and suffer from information overload. It’s so easy to throw shiny objects at us so we lose our focus on what I would say are often straight forward and not complicated issues. 

He was very well spoken, funny and at ease. He did a reasonable job keeping us engaged but the irony was that he never once explained the obvious facts on judicial reform. 

1. For decades the supreme court and AG held the elected officials hostage and ruled over them

2. The supreme court were self appointed

3. The proposals from the newly elected government aim to rectify these 2 dangerous policies

Since his talk was to focus on judicial reform, I would have expected him to explain in detail how the current supreme court gets appointed and what they do vs the new proposals from Bibi’s administration (how he aims to change the self appointed method to a fairer model) and what they should be doing. 

He never once mentioned the dangerous interference to Israel’s democracy from the outside. By nefarious people like George Soros, or organizations like the WEF, EU or other countries like the US. When a question was asked why the US thinks it can interfere in Israeli elections he answered because Israel relies on the US. Maybe that is their thinking but they couldn't be more morally wrong. The US also relies on Israel.  

He talked about everything else though and the crowd was very satisfied. He made sure to tell us how he and his children demonstrated often and that (according to him) Bibi made a mistake in firing his minister of defence Gallant. No reason given for his sentiment.

 

The facts by the way are once again simple. While Bibi was away on important government business, Gallant decided to stab his boss in the back and publicly call for a halt in the judicial reform process. Plain and clear dangerous insubordination that calls for his ouster. Did that raise the ire of the demonstrators? Probably. But there was no choice. Any other action would help tear down Bibi’s administration. If every cabinet member decided to defy their boss’s orders you’d have total chaos and no government. 

Although overall he made some very rational and reasonable points, he subliminally made sure that the crowd understood who the bad guys were. He called ministers Smotrich and Gvir, extremists. I might as well be listening to CNN. 

Worse still in my opinion was this point:

That the religious sector have more children than the secular sector. And since the religious sector is primarily conservative and on the Right and the secular sector is usually liberal and on the Left, it’s not looking good for the secular sector and that’s in fact what the demonstrations are about. 

Personally I found that whole idea offensive. That idea is being promulgated throughout our Jewish population and it certainly doesn’t sit well with me. 

Israel is composed of a very diverse group of people. Jews both secular and religious, some Ashkenazi (European origin) some Mizrachi, some rich, some poor, some highly educated, some not, etc. Arabs also secular and religious, some are Muslim, some Christian, Druze and many others make up this population. Until now, they worked together most of the time,  to make the country run. His discussion made the audience worry that if the Supreme Court eventually became run by the Orthodox community then the rest of Israeli society would suffer. Ladies would all have to wear head scarfs, men would don long beards and wear black hats. 

Essentially Israel would become an equivalent to a shariah state like Iran. He didn't state this but that was the implication.

He failed to mention that unlike the current system, the new proposals would define the job of the supreme court to judge cases, not to make laws! That’s what all supreme courts do (or should be doing). 

I think I can make this case objectively as a secular Jew but one who values Judaism. I myself stated in one of my blogs, that I would love to see a true Torah scholar sitting on Israel’s supreme court. The wisdom from such a real Jewish person is much needed there. After all if a sitting justice can be an Arab and it seems that most secular Jews are ok with that, then why not an orthodox Jew on the supreme court?

The discussion defies logic. One can say that the Arab population is exceeding at a faster rate than the secular Jewish population. If that is the case and since we currently allow anti-Israeli Arabs to sit in the Israeli parliament (Knesset) then what’s to stop them from acquiring more and more seats until one day they run the country (never mind the Supreme Court)?

In any case, the demographic predictions in Israel have been wrong, often. Historically some Jews had predicted that the Arab population would outgrow the Jewish population 10 years ago. Clearly this has not happened and hopefully never will. The experts then based their calculations on the Western world's declining population. In North America and Europe it was and remains true that we are not procreating near enough to replenish our population. But the secular Jewish population in Israel defied this trend substantially. Add to this the huge influx of secular Jewish immigrants from places like Russia, Ukraine and other African nations as well as non-Jews who continue to make Israel their home,  balance out the increase in orthodox Jews.  His premise is if not an outright lie, it's at least faulty. It's designed to inject a sense of paranoia and fear into us. Oy vey, the religious Jews are going to ruin our 'Jewish' homeland!  Can you see the irony here?

There are so many complicated factors in trying to wage predictions in Israelis future population growth that we simply can’t rely on any one’s ‘expert’ opinion. Making this as part of a case to any argument (pro or against the idea that the supreme court turning more Jewish is good thing) is a mistake. 

I point out this event because it stands as a great example of where we are today, how we think and where we're heading. I knew many people at the event and liked them all. They are all good people with good souls and good intentions. So was the speaker. But they are all playing with fire. 

Yes my friends, hold on to your hats. The blurring of right and wrong, evil and good, rational and illogical are facing us right now. Enjoy the ride if you can. 

Ben-Gvir demands government fire the Attorney General or End of Days

The attorney general of Israel appears to have more say than the Prime Minister. 

Should the Israeli government fire the attorney general? 

They must!  They have no choice. If they don’t, they are letting the enemy rule and the country will descend into absolute chaos. 

This is the ultimate decision for Bibi. He must sell this plan to the knesset, like he’s ever sold anything before… and he sure as hell has. He's good at it. He's sold himself to the citizens of Israel for years and won again and again, after all. 

There can only be one leader and it must be the duly elected PM! 

Here are 2 of her demands: 

Fire the duly elected PM of Israel (Bibi Netanyahu) because she does not like his policies.

Stop the proposed reforms (to the Supreme Court and to people like her who hold the AG job).

The former AG, Mandelblit says publicly that the current reforms proposed by Bibi's administration will cause Israel to cease being a democracy. The opposite is true. 

She was appointed when Bennett was the PM so one can guess where she stands politically. The system is so corrupt that the committee who appoints the AG is headed by the chief justice of the supreme court. So they are all pretty much on the same team and do what they want. 

If they do fire her biased, corrupt ass then Bibi, Gvir, Smotrich, et al, WIN. More importantly the citizens of Israel win (hopefully save lives - I know with every bone in my body that that’s exactly what would happen) and even the lives of us Jews in the diaspora would improve as well. Because when Israel does well, Jewish lives everywhere get better (ie. less antisemitism) and we could sure use a break from this crap right now couldn't we?

If they don’t fire her, they pretty much signed their death warrants. It might be a slow death, but it will be a death for sure. And as I mentioned above, the opposite will happen. In the end, you and I (Jew or Gentile) will suffer. 

Of course as a believer, I believe in miracles. So of course if He decrees it, anything can happen. 

The point is, that in spite of the The Big Guy in absolute control of every thing that goes on in the world, he gives us humans and in particular, us Jews lots of latitude to make mistakes (sins). I’m afraid however that as someone who is connected to a wonderful haredi family in Judea (my sister’s),  I've learned that we are in fact approaching the End of Days. This a time segment prior to the arrival of the Moshiach aka the Messiah.  During End of Days (it goes by many other names) bad things will happen. The world will descend into turmoil and war. Some countries will starve. Others might not but no one will escape these bad times. Look at it like taking medicines to fight a sickness. One feels worse, sometimes much worse, before finally feeling better. 

We are slowly starting to see the world deteriorate. At almost every level. Politically, culturally, religiously and at all societal levels. Wars, some threatening WW3 are very real that can be set off by a match. Russia shooting down a US drone might bring it on. 

We should know by now that Israel faces existential wars every day of her life. The wars in the past have been mostly standard fare. One army, airforce, navy, intelligence, etc. against their enemies' forces. And in Israel's case, many enemies.

But today the dangers are much worse since many of Israel's enemies are Jewish Israelis or Arab Israelis (ie. internal). Some are members of the government who are actually calling for a coup and civil disobedience. 

Israel is a small nuclear power. It would be extremely and naively dangerous to allow nefarious leaders to gain control of our Jewish homeland. Again like the Ukraine war example above, it might not take much to set Israel off. Israel is rightly considering destroying Iran's nuclear sites. And doing it on her own without help from the US who most Israelis now realize, can't be counted on to help. 

Look around you. The world is in a desperate and dangerous place. In every continent there is serious trouble. North Korea continues to test its ballistic missiles and threatens the West daily with war. South Africa is a dangerous powder keg. 

Iran is on the thresh hold of building nuclear bombs along with missiles capable of sending them anywhere. So many states throughout the world are suffering financial crises. Many are simply bankrupt but the MSM refuse to report this and their governments keep their mouths closed. They don't want to advertise this especially while they continue to steal the last few assets from their coffers. 

We let ourselves get complacent, get sucked into scam after scam after scam. I often wonder why people are so nasty, evil, greedy, insane and oblivious. 

The ’oblivious’ are the group who have given up on rationality, reason and logic. You know, really thinking things through.  And they are by far the largest group of people on the planet right now. Many believe in the false headlines and words spoken by our governments the world over. So many countries in decline. Facing high inflation, job losses, suffering the effects of the covid era when businesses closed, schools were closed, government services closed (hospitals were packed, operations pushed back).

Some, have very valid reasons for falling into this group. Perhaps they are poor Africans fighting off enemies (likely Islamic ones). They may be excused from sending an email for a cause because they are literally dodging bullets. 

But many are just too busy playing pickle ball (I admit it, I play it a lot!) or busy with other things to either do the same research that I do or even just to simply think rationally, logically and with reason, in a calm manner. Instead they read a headline from the MSM and believe it as fact and run with it. Letting their emotions fuel them on. 

The world is in chaos and we are mostly oblivious to it. 

Like in almost every country in the world, somehow we let the worst of the worst lead us in government and in most institutions, especially in education. Finally Israelis who are mostly conservative and value being Jewish and safe voted in a real Right wing government who had the expressed policy to reform the judiciary amongst other policies. 

Most OBJECTIVE people would agree that firing the current AG needs to happen ASAP! 

But the odds are stacked against the current Israeli government. From their Leftwing President Herzog on down to their opposition party's constant demands to throw Bibi and his coalition partners out and even kill them, the current insane supreme court and of course their overpowered 'first female AG' (reminds me how Kamala Harris got elected as VP) are on constant attack mode. 

Add to this, a list of nefarious people and organizations from the outside. I mentioned them in my previous blog. By now I'm sure you know who they are. 

Bibi himself suffers from what I call 'looking in the rear view mirror problem'. He is always busy trying to make everyone happy - an impossible challenge. 

So to summarize. She needs to go. Not sure if it will happen. I hope it does.

The moshiach is in the doorway, so hold on to your hats. Get ready for a rough ride ahead!
