To All Those People Who Accuse Israel of Committing a Genocide

Practically the entire world is accusing Israel of committing a genocide against the Arabs in Gaza. 

From the Pope to my PM in Canada, President Biden, the UN and almost every state leader and organization. Of course Hamas was first to spread that vicious lie. And the mainstream media along with most governments bought it. 

The Hamas health ministry (an oxymoron if I ever heard one) claims that over 30,000 Gazans have been killed so far. Israel claims that it has killed over 14,000 Hamas members. So right off the top that 30K number should be halved. Of course no one should believe anything that Hamas has to say. Hamas loves it when Israelis die but they are no less in heaven when their own people die.

The far larger point is this: During WWII did we concern ourselves with the number of German civilians who died? Nope! We concerned ourselves with ridding the world of Nazis, period. In war people die. Hopefully most are enemies, some are neutral and some are friendly. This is a war brought on by Hamas and helped by the Arabs in Gaza, some in Israel, some in the territories and orchestrated by Iran. 

Most of the Arabs in Gaza and in the territories side with Hamas and were thrilled with the ruthless beheadings, murder, rape, kidnapping and torture that they did on Oct 7. Are these the people that I should be concerned about their welfare? Hell no!

During any war, did we send in tons of aid to our enemies and promise a ceasefire during their religious holidays? This is what's expected with Israel who is always held to an impossible higher standard than any other country in history.

The aid that is constantly sent in either by truck, ship or air dropped is always received by Hamas. They are in charge in Gaza if anyone forgot. They take what they need. They have even been selling the aid at high prices in order to enrich themselves to buy more weapons. Checkout this video of Hamas stealing trucks of humanitarian aid:

I knew this to be true well before the colonel said so but it was important to hear this from a well respected British officer who had nothing to gain for saying so. 

I therefore have zero concern about the well fare of the Gazans. I know that the IDF will treat them fairly. Contrary to the lies that the US State Dept believed from Al Jazeera that the IDF raped Arab women, I have every reason to believe that if the world kept out of Israel's business, more lives would be saved on both sides and this war would have been over by now. 

My concern is about the hostages who continue to languish in some hell hole in Gaza or elsewhere. 

My concern is about the soldiers who are forced to fight for their lives in tunnels and dangerous small enclaves surrounded by people who hate them and want them dead.

My concern is for the citizens of Israel of which a million are displaced. Many from the south in the areas surrounding Gaza and many are from the north near the Lebanese/Syrian borders who were forced out of their homes months ago due to the constant barrages of rockets and terrorists from Hamas and Hezbollah. 

I'm concerned for the Israeli economy which is suffering from the lack of workers since most are either fighting in the war or are helping the IDF in various ways. Thanks to the many volunteers from throughout the world who go to Israel to help pick the fruit, package food for the soldiers and help distressed Israelis.

I'm concerned for so many Israelis that are suffering from wounds both physical and mental. They are broken and need healing. Again thanks to many organizations throughout the world that are helping them to live normal lives again.

If the Gazans want to ease their suffering they should help the IDF to locate Hamas and the hostages. The war would end far sooner. 

Despite the constant calls for Israel to stop going after Hamas (I hear this on my local Toronto TV news station almost every 5 minutes!) and calling out Israel for committing a genocide, Israel and her supporters throughout the world need to ignore that BS and must cheer Israel on to complete her mission. Rid the world of Hamas, Hezbollah and the Iranian leadership and save the hostages. 

As the PM of Israel, Bibi, rightly said: The best way to free the hostages is to go after Hamas. Israel needs to find new allies ASAP as it's clear that the current Biden administration is not on her side. But in the worst case, Israel can do this on her own with God's help. He is our best ally!

It's Time to Outlaw Their Demonstrations

The pro palestinian demonstrators have lost their right to protest! 

In a democracy like ours in Canada, everyone has a right to peaceful protest. But they have demonstrated to us that they are not interested in peaceful protests. In fact 95% of their demonstrations for the past few decades have been anything but. How much more must the Jewish and pro Israel community be forced to endure? Their protests are designed to intimidate and harass us. To instil violence and to commit violence.  It's fair to say that we've given them every opportunity to prove that they are responsible citizens who can demonstrate peacefully. They've proven to us in spades that they cannot! It's time to outlaw their demonstrations. Arrest each one who defies the order and lets get our country back. 

Even apolitical Canadians are forced to put up with their insane protests which have impacted our entire country. Just about every city has been affected by them. Shoppers at the Eaton's Centre during Christmas were forced to listen to their rants, shouted by megaphone inside the mall 'From the River to the sea, Palestine will be free'. What a treat for families looking to buy gifts for their children to hear. It's not just the volume, it's the interference from doing what you want. They blocked certain stores so that shoppers were not able to access them. 

Perhaps you wish to pray at your house of worship? I would have thought that holy places would be exempt from such protests. Nope. Not in Canada. The other day a scary group of demonstrators, harassed Jews in a suburb of Toronto attempting to go to their synagogue. 

At the same time in Montreal, demonstrators shouted in Arabic 'Death to the Jews'. I guess our hate laws only apply if the threats are in English.

Patients at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto had to be scared out of their wits when demonstrators climbed the walls and waved large palestinian flag along with their usual mantras. 

In my mostly Jewish suburb of Toronto, we had to put up with large demonstrations that blocked our access in and out of our neighbourhood for months until the police finally ordered them to shut down their demonstration. The police came down on horseback, it was that bad! I blogged about this here.

In fact it's gotten so awful that our mainstream media barely report these demonstrations. For years they have taken over our city hall to protest every weekend. This photo below is from 2021 and it's ongoing. 

They have managed to normalize their behaviour. We can't let them, albeit it might be too late. Do you want to go for a nice skate at the city hall skating rink? Think again. You might be harassed by the demonstrators who will call you out and threaten you if they think you are Jewish or stand for Israel. 

Here's a short video of our mayor's attempt at a free skating event there that was interrupted by the demonstrators who went on the ice and via megaphone shouted 'While you're skating bombs are dropping'. She pleaded with them to leave by trying to appease them (she feels their pain). You can guess that it didn't work.

Friends complained about visiting our amazing art gallery downtown when all of a sudden dozens of protesters entered the gallery and stopped my friends from enjoying the art and instead forced them to watch the demonstrators parade around menacingly with flags, megaphones and throwing their flyers all over the place. 

Just the other day our Prime Minister invited Italy's leader over here for a visit. But due to the threatening gang of pro palestinian demonstrators, he cancelled the visit. Back to Italy she went. I can only imagine what she must have been thinking. 

We can't and shouldn't run a country this way. The more intimidating they become, the more we must be as well. In order to maintain a peaceful and freedom loving country we must enforce our laws and be more aggressive than they are. Arrests, deportations and outlawing their demonstrations are a must do, right now!

How Did We Get Here?

This is what I'm seeing in the news on a daily basis in Toronto, Canada:

Mount Sinai is a world renown hospital in downtown Toronto that was founded by the Jewish community here. Recently pro-Palestinian demonstrators have scaled the walls there and shout and wave their flags (who cares about sick or dying patients). 

In fact for about a year or longer, anti-Israel protestors have taken over my city and are in the news every single day!

The other day our 2nd in command (Ms. Melissa Lantsman) Conservative party member of parliament who is proudly Jewish and supports Israel loudly and lives in a suburb of Toronto, got her office vandalized by anti-Israel (pro-Hamas) thugs. That barely made the news but here's a photo of her office:

In a previous blog post (here) I talked about an ongoing, nasty anti-Israel protest that was taking place in my mostly Jewish neighbourhood on Avenue Rd where it passes over hwy 401. The protesters came from distant places. None of them lived in my neighbourhood. They came here because it was an easy target where there was a large audience. Thousands of cars and trucks drive along this main artery in Toronto. There are no embassies or institutions of any kind here. Just a quiet Jewish neighbourhood who they thought that they could easily intimidate. When people like me went there to counter protest, the police showed up to separate us. They also closed traffic so that we who live in that neighbourhood could no longer access the highway or use Avenue Rd, another main access to get downtown. Here is a photo of a cop passing on coffee to one of the protesters. Notice the bus behind him which the police used to stop traffic in the area. 

Eventually after enough of us protested ourselves and complained loudly to our politicians and the police, the police stopped the protests at that location. But there are thousands of other protests going on every day throughout Canada as I highlighted earlier.

Attacks on Jewish individuals, synagogues, businesses and at the population at large seem to be increasing at an exponential rate. Years ago people could stick their heads in the sand and avoid knowing about it but today no one can avoid seeing it or hearing about it in the news. 

So how did we get here?

The vast amount of antisemitism that we are witnessing today comes from Muslims. One of Islam's main tenets is to make the entire world Muslim. While some religions proselytize  (Judaism does not), some do it to an extreme level. Islam makes conversion as simple as saying a few words in Arabic out loud and presto: you're a Muslim! The conversion process in Judaism is long and takes a lot of effort. You really have to want to be Jewish to even attempt to convert.

Muslims are not content to practise their religion where they live. History certainly backs up that claim. That's in part why many of them immigrate to all corners of the world. More recently, they have had their eye on the West. They were dying to take us over but knew that they couldn't. 

Less than a hundred years ago, oil was discovered in Saudi Arabia. The US was there to help develop it. Since then trillions of dollars have been made by them and other Muslim states like Iran, Qatar, UAE and others. They made so much money that they didn't know what to do with it. So finally they had the means to spread their dangerous ideology in the West. They injected billions of dollars into our institutions, both private and public. In particular they bribed our university administrators to take their money in exchange for changing their curriculums to include a pro-Muslim one. With that came demands to hire Muslim presidents, board members and professors. Politicians were bribed and threatened as well. More and more Muslims from all over the world emigrated to the West (Europe and North America). 

They were patient. They followed their imams directions. Have patience. Have many children. Go live amongst the vile Westerners but in time we will take them over.

Is that time now?

I just returned from 5 weeks in Miami Beach, Florida. The first major sign I saw when we drove in via the main artery hwy I-95 was a large "I Stand with Israel" sign. It truly warmed my heart. The Miami area has a large Jewish population and I felt totally safe there. I didn't see a single Palestinian flag nor did I even hear of any pro-Palestinian demonstrations on the news there. Not once!

In contrast, when we crossed the border back into Canada we needed to buy gas and supplies so the first store we stopped in had Arabic writing on it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against Arabs owning stores in Canada. But our current political leaders in Canada from our PM to my mayor in Toronto have an anti-Israel, anti-Jewish bias. The current immigration policy by Trudeau is to allow as many Muslims into our country as fast as he can. They both can't wait to count these new votes.

When he said that Israel was committing genocide on the Gazans for having the chutzpah to wipe out Hamas after their brutal attack on innocent Israelis, he's given a green light to all of the vile Islamists who live here and others who support them to do as they wish to us. 

Therefore we must defeat him and his Liberal party any way we can and as soon as possible.  

Some countries in Europe who led the way to Islamisize their states are learning the hard way that contrary to Obama's BS that 'Islam is the religion of peace', it is not! Their people have had enough and want no more Muslim immigrants. They don't want their daughters raped or their family members murdered. They are tired of the ongoing theft, attacks and abuse state wide. 

The ongoing demonstrations here in Toronto are costing us millions of dollars every year and the price tag is going up. For almost every day for the past year or so, the pro-Palestinian demonstrators (I use that term for simplicity but know that there is no such people) have been all over our city hall downtown along with of course our well paid police. I'm glad that I went to Florida because I saw with my own eyes that Muslims have not taken over the world just yet. There is hope. I'm optimistic that with G-d's help they will be defeated. Not just in Israel but here too. 

 

Are We Outnumbered or Just Outvoiced?

It seems that I made up yet another word: Outvoiced. Do you recall my earlier words: 2 facism ? (not to be confused with fascism.) 

Our world seems to be growing more dangerous by the minute. The woke Leftists have partnered with Islamists and have created a most toxic climate to raise our children. Logic and reason have been thrown out the door and replaced with sometimes the most obvious insane ideas and sometimes with more subtle evil. Sad to say but many, perhaps most of our kids have been indoctrinated already by this Leftist ideology. While most of us on the Right have been asleep at the wheel, the wheels of the Left never stopped turning. That ideology has infected all schools from kindergarten up to university, all institutions both government, private and charitable organizations, all media from which we used to rely on to get accurate news and all this is happening at record pace in every single country in the world !

So where are we today? Is it too late to turn things around? Have we lost the fight and going down for the count? Or do we still have a chance to make the world right?

I like to use nature as a good example of what happens when we do wrong and what happens when we do right. One can look at a little micro environment perhaps one in your very own neighbourhood. It could be your own backyard. Or maybe a place that you visited many times over a long period of time. 

Who hasn't had a neighbour who's yard is a complete mess. Motors, tires and other junk strewn all over the lawn. The grass and weeds 3 feet tall? Skunks and raccoons taken over the place. Broken glass. If they have dogs, dog pooh never picked up. Fleas, rats and other vermin. I've seen that many times and I'm sure I'm not alone. But I've seen what happens when new people move in and in short order clean up the place. Don't get me wrong, I'm not necessarily in love with meticulously groomed yards, but some semblance of cleanliness and order - yes!

As an avid hiker and fly fisherman, I adore the pristine places I've been too. Likewise I'm heartbroken when I see garbage thrown about in those places. I recall numerous times when I've hiked deep into the forest near my cottage in Muskoka, thinking that perhaps I'm the first human being who's walked there. Only to find a piece of an old rusted car lying in the bush.

But nature, like humanity is able to overcome almost any disaster, given a chance. I've seen polluted rivers that I thought were dead forever, come back to life. The Don river that runs right through Toronto is one such example. When I was a teenager the stench from that river before it dumped its nasty self into Lake Ontario in downtown Toronto, was nose numbing. Today it actually holds fish. Huge salmon and rainbow trout migrate their way from the lake up the river every year. We've still got a far way to go to clean it up but in the past few years I've spotted a cray fish in that river near where I live and even a mink!

People are no less resilient. Given a chance we can reclaim our proper places in the world. We all know of people who have overcome adversity despite all odds.  

So too can we wake ourselves out of our deep slumber and challenge others to do so as well. We have to make a statement with our lives. We cannot perpetually outsource the running of our world to others because if we do, the 'others' will do what's best for them, not for us. This is guaranteed!

I think that today the people on the Right, that is the reasonable, logical, conservative minded folk who follow the Judeo-Christian model of living, still outnumber the woke Left. 

After events like October 7 in Israel we witnessed not only the sub-human evil that exists in many Muslims but also the vile antisemitism that continues to persist in the West. 

We cannot afford to sit back and watch as our world continues its downward fall. Nor can we behave like sheep and follow corrupt leaders and meaningless chants. Or look at shiny new objects that distract us from things far more important that we should be considering for our immediate and long term welfare. 

We can't just wish for peace, we must fight for it. Israel is doing just that and we must support her!
