In a democracy like ours in Canada, everyone has a right to peaceful protest. But they have demonstrated to us that they are not interested in peaceful protests. In fact 95% of their demonstrations for the past few decades have been anything but. How much more must the Jewish and pro Israel community be forced to endure? Their protests are designed to intimidate and harass us. To instil violence and to commit violence. It's fair to say that we've given them every opportunity to prove that they are responsible citizens who can demonstrate peacefully. They've proven to us in spades that they cannot! It's time to outlaw their demonstrations. Arrest each one who defies the order and lets get our country back.
Even apolitical Canadians are forced to put up with their insane protests which have impacted our entire country. Just about every city has been affected by them. Shoppers at the Eaton's Centre during Christmas were forced to listen to their rants, shouted by megaphone inside the mall 'From the River to the sea, Palestine will be free'. What a treat for families looking to buy gifts for their children to hear. It's not just the volume, it's the interference from doing what you want. They blocked certain stores so that shoppers were not able to access them.
Perhaps you wish to pray at your house of worship? I would have thought that holy places would be exempt from such protests. Nope. Not in Canada. The other day a scary group of demonstrators, harassed Jews in a suburb of Toronto attempting to go to their synagogue.
At the same time in Montreal, demonstrators shouted in Arabic 'Death to the Jews'. I guess our hate laws only apply if the threats are in English.
Patients at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto had to be scared out of their wits when demonstrators climbed the walls and waved large palestinian flag along with their usual mantras.
In my mostly Jewish suburb of Toronto, we had to put up with large demonstrations that blocked our access in and out of our neighbourhood for months until the police finally ordered them to shut down their demonstration. The police came down on horseback, it was that bad! I blogged about this here.
In fact it's gotten so awful that our mainstream media barely report these demonstrations. For years they have taken over our city hall to protest every weekend. This photo below is from 2021 and it's ongoing.
They have managed to normalize their behaviour. We can't let them, albeit it might be too late. Do you want to go for a nice skate at the city hall skating rink? Think again. You might be harassed by the demonstrators who will call you out and threaten you if they think you are Jewish or stand for Israel.
Here's a short video of our mayor's attempt at a free skating event there that was interrupted by the demonstrators who went on the ice and via megaphone shouted 'While you're skating bombs are dropping'. She pleaded with them to leave by trying to appease them (she feels their pain). You can guess that it didn't work.
Friends complained about visiting our amazing art gallery downtown when all of a sudden dozens of protesters entered the gallery and stopped my friends from enjoying the art and instead forced them to watch the demonstrators parade around menacingly with flags, megaphones and throwing their flyers all over the place.
Just the other day our Prime Minister invited Italy's leader over here for a visit. But due to the threatening gang of pro palestinian demonstrators, he cancelled the visit. Back to Italy she went. I can only imagine what she must have been thinking.
We can't and shouldn't run a country this way. The more intimidating they become, the more we must be as well. In order to maintain a peaceful and freedom loving country we must enforce our laws and be more aggressive than they are. Arrests, deportations and outlawing their demonstrations are a must do, right now!

The sad reality is this is one massive example of how Socialism rots the individual and the society that it is allowed to infect and metastasize like the cancer it is.
Normally, I am 100% for Freedom of Speech however you make a grand presentation toward the limits - being when peaceful protests digress into violence, destruction and criminality. My opinion is that this is all by design. Socialism/Communism like Islam demand confrontation to "change" their respective environments into something more in the image of their respective theologies. The first through Revolution via any means necessary to achieve the common ends with Islam's Jihad for their submission of "dar al Harb" to become "dar al Islam".
It is my opinion that these protests are not protests anymore but examples of the war onto Canada/Canadian society re: revolution and jihad and therefore must be combated.
I am more for incarcerations but more for DEPORTATION of all dangerous anti-Canadian elements from within our country OUT.
Israel, though founded upon - and by - Socialists and Communists the vasts of Israeli Society is Jewish and does, at least, follow the most base of Jewish or "Judeo-Christian" principles. Thus Israel has far more in common with Canada and the Western Judeo-Christian Civilization it is based than any and all from the un, non or anti-Western societies whether they be Socialist/Communist, Tribal/Savage or Islam/Savagery.
The sad realty is that all this has come into being because of OUR failure as Canadians to stand up as Canadians for OUR CANADIAN Judeo-Christian culture. For decades we have elected Socialist/Communists and Globalists to Parliament: Trudeau, Mulroney, Chretien, Mr. Dithers, Stephen Harpoon and now Trudeau the Elder with the, in my opinion, groomed politician Pierre P awaiting his coronation to further plunder, diversify and encourage the managed decline of this country.
If Canada was still CANADIAN, I doubt there would be any of these hate fests happening because Socialism/Communism, like Islam would have never entered (or had been rooted out of) our "educational", political, media, legal, social, cultural, religious etc. systems....
It is time to CONFRONT this cancer and demand accountability through mass DEPORTATION of the Islamic elements within Canada and their Communist anti-Canadian cohorts.
The good news is, if this was to happen, the entire Green, NDP and Liberal Parties - with a goodly portion of the "Conservative" Party - would be gone and we could Make Canada Great - and CANADIAN - Again.
ps: in closing, I'd like to also say that Israel's largely responsible for all this mess because they, time and again, deny the realities around them with regard to Socialism and Islam. Israel should have ANNEXED ALL of the lands in June '67 with ALL of the Muhammadan so-called "Palestinians" deported. Israel must hold their own version of Spain's "Reconquista" by DEPORTING all Islam from within it ancestral, legal and historical homelands West of the Jordan River - INCLUDING Gaza, Judea and Samaria....but for that, Israel will need a leader that IS Jewish first, holds the mental ability to deflect and counter all confrontation and has a pair of BALLS!!!

Great article Leon. In addition to being anti Jewish, I believe that these demonstrations have a greater underlying purpose. Muslims now represent 5% of the Canadian population. This is the threshold when they begin to assert their influence and eventual dominance over a society. The demonstrations, as well as public prayer sessions, are part of their strategy to take control.

You are so right! I too have read numerous international studies that show the effects of countries as their Muslim population grows. That 5% representation of Muslims in Canada is a dangerous tipping point. At this %, we can still overcome their dangerous potential that has been proven without a doubt, time and again, in state upon state exactly what happens to the non-Muslim populations of countries when the Muslim population reaches about 30%. All those citizens who ignore the problems that this relatively small (5%) Muslim population in Canada pose today, are playing with fire in just a decade or so.
