Obama Is Dangerous!

For years I have been decrying the dangers of having Obama as the leader of the free world. I have been admonished for comparing his rise to power to Hitler. I have tried to highlight his hidden agenda. It was necessary to do so since the mainstream media not only refuse to criticize the man but instead hold him up on a pedestal at every opportunity. No doubt they will continue to do so as they will ignorantly praise him for attempting to restart peace talks in the Middle East.

Well now will those of you who either continue to love this man, make excuses for him or stand on the fence finally admit it? He's dangerous and he needs to go ASAP!

He shrewdly proposed to the world, that in order to get negotiations going again, that Israel should return to the 1967 borders. This would create indefensible borders for Israel (at one point it would only be 9 miles wide) and in effect would ensure that all Israelis would commit suicide!

What happened to the agreements already in place for years that a Palestinian state can only be created as a result of direct negotiations with Israel? What happened to no negotiations with the terrorist group Hamas who vow to wipe Israel off the map and 'Kill all the Jews' (later they'll kill the rest of the non-Moslems)?

I would respect the man (somewhat) if he was more like Ahmedinejad. Tell us what's really on your mind. Eliminate the Jewish State. More power to the Moslem world. Eliminate the US as a super power.

As a son of Holocaust survivors I realize that our fate can turn on a dime. History has showed us this time and again. Right now in Canada (where I'm from) we are fortunate to have a principled Prime Minister in Stephen Harper. One of the few leaders who stands up for Israel. But this is temporary. One day Harper will be replaced. What are the odds that we will get someone who sides with the rest of the world - Against Israel? Had modern day Israel existed as a Jewish homeland prior to WWII, the holocaust would never have happened. Six million Jews would have emigrated to Israel. In fact Hitler would have preferred it. The Nazis tried to deport the Jews out of Europe but no country would take them.

Although I love living here and am a proud, loyal Canadian, I am always comforted by the fact that I know deep in my heart, should things ever get ugly here, I can always go to Israel and feel safe. Letting Israel, one of the US's strongest allies, out to dry, shows us that Obama is not only Israel's enemy but that he's two faced as he does this under the guise of peace.

For those of you who agree with me, I suggest that you join the Joshua Campaign. Click on the title above 'Obama is Dangerous!'

Obama Administration and Egypt

Once again the Obama administration is quick to threaten it's ally for over 30 years. Once again they don't understand the mentality of the Arab on the street. The more Obama and Hilary open their mouth the more trouble they get the US into. Now is the time to shut up and learn what's really going on. Is it the Moslem Brotherhood (the worst of all radical Islamist groups) that's pushing the violence there? To the avg Egyptian, the US is a joke. For 30 years they back their dictator. Then when the people try to overthrow him, the US is suddenly on their side. Which side are they on?
The administration is once again dreaming of a new democratic Egyptian government, thinking that's what their people want. Wrong again. The Arab on the street wants to depose Mubarak. That's it for now. What will be tomorrow, who knows. But it surely won't be American style democracy. God help Israel and the West when his regime is gone.

Obama and Israel

Now that he has been president for well over a year, how is he doing at running the most powerful country in the world?

I'm afraid that none of my fears have been allayed. Especially his war on terror. You see most of the worlds most active, dangerous terrorists are radical Moslems. It's not that I don't like Moslems. I like all people equally. I'm just stating what should be an obvious fact. A fact that seems lost on Obama and his administration. In fact, most of the Jews in the US voted him in. Most of them now regret it. The pressure at the time to elect the first black president, someone who stood for 'change' , was immense. Even when his dubious background, his secret background as a Muslim, his numerous anti-Semitic friends with ties to radical Moslem organizations were slowly coming to view in some (very few) media (thank goodness for the internet), very few public leaders or media addressed them or questioned his integrity. If anyone did, they were either shot down or ignored.

Of all of the issues he faces, terrorism is by far the most important issue or should be.
A very obvious point here is what he's done with the long standing, trusting relationship between the US and Israel. He's managed to push his one Middle East ally away whilst befriending numerous Arab dictatorial regimes, many who outright sponsor the world's vilest terrorist organizations.

I've read many articles on this. The reasons given have been all over the map. Most very valid.
However I'm going to throw one more opinion into the soup. It's about human behaviour and it's fairly obvious once you think of it.

Obama's popularity has fallen due to his broken promises, lies and dangerously poor performance especially on the international front. Believe me, a lot more people wanted to elect a black president than KKK folks didn't. Americans are not idiots. Most do realize that Israel is an undeniable strategic friend to the US. It's the one constant in the world and especially within a very dangerous middle east. Typical in a relationship, the worst behaviour is spent on your partner. While you are able to hold your tongue to strangers who may in fact require a tongue lashing, you feel a lot more comfortable taking it out on your spouse or child.

Example: when a crazy driver cuts you off and you manage to catch up to him and give him the finger, you might be faced with a bullet in the head. On the other hand, going crazy on your partner at home (hopefully) might mean that you get the silent treatment for a day. Likewise the Obama administration knows that if it threatens Arab countries or the PA, they can rely on more 9/11's. Threatening Israel (their ally) on the other hand usally has no major, obvious negative consequences. Certainly there won't be any Israeli terrorist flying jets into US buildings.

It's time Israel spoke up. Stop trying to appease the US government for some far fetched 'peace' plan with people (PA) bent on destroying the tiny Jewish state.

Hope with Obama

Well folks, it's been some time since I updated my blog.

Since taking office, President Obama has said some good stuff. He's got some serious issues to deal with like the Economy for one. Since I'm not an economist, I really can't say much about  what I think the right thing to do is. He and his advisors recommend spending lot's of $ on bailouts. I just hope that the corrupt CEO's don't take all that money and run.
Here in Canada and in particular in Ontario where a big chunk of our economy relates to the shaky auto industry, our Premier also wants to hand over lots of dough to the big US car makers.

Personally I recommend offering to remove sales taxes (here in Ontario how about removing the provincial sales tax and/or federal tax) when citizens wish to buy these cars. By giving these pathetic companies that still can't make a good car after all these years, more money to squander, they'll just make more cars that are going to sit on dealer lots. We're in a recession remember? People aren't going to magically start buying these cars, are they?
I know I wouldn't. But if I needed a new car and was able to save say 10% on sales taxes on a $30,000 GM car, then maybe I would. The best part is that we wouldn't simply be throwing money at them. The more cars they sell (and that is the point isn't it?), the more money they make, the less money we'll have to give them and the more people will be employed.

I'm tired of bailouts. All I know is that if any one of us small to medium size businesses finds itself in financial hardship, no one is going to bail us out.  But when Ford loses money all they have to do is threaten to close a plant somewhere and the government rushes to the aid in order to prevent massive job losses. With all the money that we've given to these companies we could have instead let them close and use the bailout money to help feed the employees for years.

A big part of the problem has been UNIONS. Once upon a time they served a purpose. But that purpose has been hijacked by ruthless, money grubbing thugs who no longer serve the real needs of the employee but instead are self serving.  The unions in the end actually harm legitimate, hard working employees of these large companies by pushing for unrealistic benefits whereby  the cost to stay in business by the employers becomes increasingly high. Eventually they can't compete in the world markets and end up closing. As long as we let unions run the show, those companies will suffer.

I hope our world leaders like Obama realize that bailouts alone are not the answer. Can you imagine how much it will cost just to monitor how those companies that get bailout money, spend it? If he truly is for the little guy, he needs to push the unions out the door.

In Ontario and elsewhere in the world various unions are busy doing what I'm doing. Commenting on world issues. Instead they should focus on doing they're job.  We had a 4 month strike at York University in Toronto. But what was the president of the union here doing (Sid Ryan)? He was busy condemning Israel for the war in Gaza. While students in Toronto were dying to get back to school, while professors and other staff were trying to go to work and feed their families, their Union president Sid was pushing to continue the strike (what does he care, he still gets paid) and organizing Israel Apartheid rally's.

Employees that work at organizations with unions need to get more involved with them and to insure that their union leadership is apolitical and focus on the job at hand. For that matter, maybe they should vote them out and like ING says: Save Your Money.

Obama - Our next world leader?

I always had my suspicions about this 'excellent speaker'. His personal history needed some filling in the blanks, badly. He was raised as a Muslim - maybe? What are his opinions and solutions to the issues that confront the US as the world's protector?

Well we know that he wants to take the states out of Iraq. So what? Every normal American wants it to end and get out of there ASAP. But exactly how and when is the issue. Furthermore to even attempt to state to the world that as of a certain future date, the states will walk away from Iraq would be one stupid move. Nothing like giving your enemies advance notice to help them plan their attacks.

His solution to deal with Islamo Terrorism is: "We must listen to their needs'.

Boy has he got that wrong!

For the rest of the issues he as usual stands on the fence.

But what really makes me sick, is his ongoing fiasco with his former mentor of 20 years, the not so honourable Reverend Wright.

Why are the media pun dents placating him so?

Here's a guy who went to church for 20 years, loved his pastor, considered him his mentor and equivalent to a close family member and even appointed him his spiritual advisor. Until very recently, the most negative comment he could muster for the reverend was that his comments were controversial.

My question:

Why did it take him over 20 years to finally realize that his mentor is really not that great a guy? After all, his mentor condemns America - Check out his 'God Damn America!' speech. The one where he claims that the US infected blacks with AIDS.

When initially pushed to comment on his pastor who was/is good friends with Louis Farrakhan (anti-white, anti-Semite, anti-US, anti-Israel, pro-radical Islam), his defense was that the Rev did many good things. His other laughable defense is that he never heard those speeches that contained inflammatory comments. Now he finally condemns him only because he was forced to.

Obama is either blatantly lying or he lacks judgement. I suspect it's a combination of both. In either case, it's bad news.

The one thing he does excel at, is being a politician.

If he does become the next US president, then unfortunately his buddy, Rev. Wright will be correct: 'God Damn America!'.

Should we boycott the Olympics in China?

That my friends is a personal question that we all must decide for ourselves.

If you feel strongly that China's human rights record stinks or their annexation of Tibet is unjust or you don't want to support a country who is Sudan's largest trading partner or you simply don't want to support a hard fisted communist regime AND that boycotting a huge sporting event held there will send the proper message to change their policies, by all means, do so!

If on the other hand you feel that by boycotting the Olympics in China, you will be destroying an amazing non-political, world sporting event and thereby punishing many athletes from all over the world who have dedicated their lives to this once in a lifetime event, by all means, do not!

I think the problem is with the current process. We have a corrupt Olympic system in place run by a bunch of either totally naive buffoons or on the take committee members who decide which country is going to 'get' the Olympics. I can just imagine the bribery and wining and dining that goes on.

Do you remember when Adolph Hitler's Germany was awarded the Olympics? The premise then was that the Olympics are non-political so it shouldn't matter what the politics are of the host country. Right? Wrong! By giving Germany the Olympics back then, we gave a face and voice to the Nazi's. We instantly legitimized Adolph and his followers.

I think I have the solution.

We need to create a new Olympics for democracies only!

That way we will eliminate a lot of the embarrassing, political goings on every time the Olympics are held. Let China, Russia and the rest of the strong arm countries have their own.

At this point we are all part of a faulty process. We must change the process in order to correct the problem. Boycotting the Olympics will definitely punish innocent athletes from all over the world.

The good news is that it will probably cost China billions of dollars to host the Olympics and they ain't gonna get all of that money back!

Between the recent Tibet fiasco, the cost of jet fuel - the price of air fare, the poor world economy especially in the states and the distance of China from the West and Europe (from where most tourists come from when they go to the event), I really think that the visitor tally will be extremely low.

That said, we still need to ask ourselves:

When are going to stop awarding bad behaviour?!

Should we talk peace with Iran?

I dunno, if a group of murderous thugs knock on your door to discuss how they are going to tear you apart, rape your wife and children and destroy your home, are you going to let them in?

Maybe you should invite them in, offer them tea and cookies and try to dissuade them from those horrific actions. Perhaps after a nice calm discussion, cooler heads will prevail and they will simply thank you for your hospitality and leave. Maybe they'll send flowers.

Or just maybe, you'd not only not let them in, but rather, you'd bolt your door, call the police, get your own gun out, if you own one and get ready for war!

Any other action would imply that just maybe, the house you're in doesn't belong to you and the people in the house you live in are not your family and don't expect any protection from you.

For those of you who think that the Iranian government isn't so bad, feel free to email me at leonkushner@rogers.com and I'll send you a slide show.
