Welcome to the Socialist Dominion of Canada

Here is some news that none of the mainstream media (MSM) feels worthy of news coverage but I certainly feel that it does. Let me know after you read this if you agree or not.

While our national state sponsored broadcaster in Canada, the left winged CBC, has decided that it was of the utmost importance to cut a 10 second cameo appearance of President Trump out of the movie Home Alone 2 (yes folks, that's why we pay them the big bucks), they failed to report on a high school in Nova Scotia that has for a long time now, posted pictures of some of their heroes (certainly not mine and hopefully not yours): Karl Marx and Che Guevara!

Thanks to my colleague Jeremy Valentine, who lives out east, we are all now privy to what passes as history in our Canadian schools where opinion replaces fact and feelings trump everything.

Despite Jeremy's numerous attempts to notify the school, the department of education and the mayor of the city of Truro where this school (Cobequid Educational Center) is located, of this terrible 'mistake', he's received no replies to my knowledge.  Worse still, the pictures remain prominently displayed so that children can be brainwashed to think that these men are heroes. I urge you all to contact the school (notice I embedded the link to it above) and let them know what you think of this dreadful practice.

Here are the pictures as they are displayed on the school walls:

Karl Marx the founder of Communism

Che Guevara the man who wrote the book on Guerrilla Warfare

Are these the men that you would want your children to emulate? Karl Marx who came up with a  political idea called 'Communism' which helped destroy hundreds of millions of lives?
Or Che Guevara who is idolized over his poems about class struggle while killing political opponents, bringing Russia's nuclear weapons to Cuba and hanging homosexuals amongst other things? Who is running this school? It wouldn't surprise me if other schools throughout our glorious country also have posters of similar heroes. After all, if our own Prime Minister praised dictators often enough (like Cuba's Fidel Castro- Che's buddy) then why shouldn't our educational system follow suit?

Our schools are so important. They help shape the minds of our most valuable asset. Our children. It's been very obvious, to me and others that our schools have been infected with various leftist ideologies like political correctness, virtue signalling and hiding any facts, historical or current which don't fit their narrative. Look, I couldn't care less if some people idolize Che, Karl or Hitler. We live in a democracy and people are free to think what they want. But I draw the line about what our children our taught. We all should. These children are going to lead our country one day soon. And if they have been indoctrinated to think that Karl and Che are leaders worth emulating, then we are all in big trouble.

I urge you all to write to the school principal. His name is: William Kaulbach. His email is: kaulbachw@ccrce.ca.  Here is my email to him:

Dear Principal Kaulbach,

It has come to my attention that your school has posters of Karl Marx and Che Guevara. I am sickened by the prospect of children being brainwashed to think that these men are some sort of hero. You should be too. Karl’s idea of communism helped destroy hundreds of millions of lives! Che wrote the book on guerrilla warfare, killed his political opponents and hanged homosexuals while writing poems on class struggle. Is there a shortage of good people that you could have used as heroes for your students to emulate? If you need help on this, I’m here to help.

I urge you to remove these obscene posters immediately. Also to teach your students exactly who these men were and to instruct your students and perhaps your staff (including yourself) about the dangers of communism.

Time to Distance Myself from Faith Goldy

That beautiful, young woman is Faith Goldy. I voted for her to be my mayor of Toronto back in 2014.  Not because I thought John Tory was a bad guy. Because my main concern was that I didn’t want Toronto to become a dangerous place for my children and their children to live as is the case in most cities throughout Europe. As nice a guy that John Tory is, he is a politician first and will endorse anyone who endorses him, even if they are radical Muslims. Since our PM and in fact our country is moving to the politically correct, far left, our immigration system is being used as their political tool. Unvetted, often dangerous and more often racist Muslims from third world dictatorships are invited here at a record pace. And where do they live? Not in the North West Territories. They are moving to the big cities like Toronto. People like John Tory will not protect us from them. I thought Faith Goldy would.

I was attacked by many of my friends for defending her. They called her a racist. A white supremacist  and worse. But until now, most of their arguments were based on hearsay. I recall when Ezra Levant fired her for doing a podcast with a neo-Nazi group. On the surface it didn’t look good. It certainly didn’t sound good. I certainly wouldn’t rush to do it. In fact I wouldn’t give them any credibility by doing that.  But I gave her the benefit of the doubt. After all when someone I respect like Israeli professor Mordechai Kedar did a TV interview with the antisemitic Arab media giant Al Jazeera, not only was he not condemned by people like me, he was applauded. Because he had the courage to debunk their lies, in Arabic, point by point. Although Faith didn’t argue with the affiliate of the white supremacist, the Daily Stormer, she didn’t endorse them either. However she was quite happy to be endorsed by them.

But after her latest tweet, the other day she said: ‘How long must Jewish journalists whine about Nazis under all our beds while simultaneously earning shekels from scoffing at whites?  Merchants of hypocrisy.’, I have to admit that I made a mistake.

I loved her when she attended the counter demonstration at the Bnai Brith headquarters in Toronto back in the summer of 2018, when even most Jewish leaders failed to show up to stand up to busloads of Jew hating Muslims, CUPW postal worker union members, Green party members and others. But now I see her as an opportunist. Opportunists can be dangerous. One day they are your best friend, the next day they can be your worst enemy.

Looking at her tweet, she might have meant to say that it’s not the alt-right who are the biggest threat to Jews and other minorities, it’s the alt-left. If in fact that’s what she meant, she couldn't have picked a worse way to say it.  Perhaps she also wants to tell her alt-right supporters that she is not in the pocket of wealthy Jews like some on the far left. Okay- maybe. But either way she is either the worst communicator ever (on purpose) or she simply needs to finally come out of the closet and admit that she is a proud white supremacist. As a son of Holocaust survivors, I’m wary of the words that people use when they talk about Jews. Her words certainly invoked many nasty, antisemitic stereotypes.

I haven’t yet heard any clarification from her on this as yet but either way she’s made her point on a number of occasions. It’s like someone who supports you but is always drunk, they do you more harm than good. I don’t hate her (yet) but it’s time to distance myself from her. I don’t need her or want her on my side. The bottom line is that I don't trust her and neither should you. Learn from my mistake.

Welcome to Gaza at York University

The other evening an event sponsored by Herut Canada, an unapologetic Zionist organization, brought a handful of IDF (Israeli Defence Forces) reservists to speak on campus at York Univeristy in Toronto. This is their organization: https://onduty.org.il . The hostess, Lauren Isaacs is a student at York who often does presentations on her own or with other students trying to inform the masses about what Israel is, who Israelis are and what they do. They try to dispel the lies emanating from the pro-Palestinian mobs who claim that Israel is an apartheid state, that IDF soldiers kill children, remove organs from prisoners, are occupiers of their land, poison their wells and a host of other insane accusations.

The mission of the IDF reservists is to initiate a dialogue with students (who are ignorant of the facts about Israel and her neighbours) on campuses in the West, along the same lines as Herut Canada and Lauren Isaacs.

Once the event was announced, the intifada mob got wind of it as they always do and used social media to mobilize. They are a well organized group as they have been trained by their benefactors in Iran. (Yes they get funding from terrorists)

Once supporters of the event, like me, heard that the intifada mob were coming to the event in order to disrupt it and stop it as they always do, we planned to attend in order to stop them and to ensure that the event goes on. In my case as soon as I heard about it I sent a tweet to the president of York U, imploring her to do all in her power to keep the event going and the attendees safe despite any security threats.

Myself and 3 of my longtime friends decided to go to show our support and to hear the lecture from these brave IDF reservists. After parking, as we walked closer to the lecture hall, we could hear the screaming and banging. It sounded like a war zone. Megaphones were used, tables were banged upon and then we were confronted with a mass tangle of people trying to go up the stairs to the lecture hall.  There was a lot of pushing and screaming and some punching. Police and security were present and tried to separate the two sides. We eventually were ushered in quickly into the theatre room where we were handed a sheet of rules that included: You agree to be quiet until Q & A time where you will raise your hand in order to ask a question, no weapons or sticks of any kind are allowed, etc.

Within the room, security in the form of police, York security and other under cover Jewish security personnel were placed throughout (not that the IDF reservists really needed them, lol). There were a few minor interruptions when some of the intifada mobsters at random times stood up, raised their Hamas flags and started shouting. They didn't last long as most of the attendees who got into the room were Jewish or otherwise pro-Israel. They were escorted out in short order. There was a Syrian refugee who stated that he wanted to thank these reservists for saving his family from Syrian persecution in the Golan Heights. You can follow him on Twitter.  His name is Aboud Dandachi.

My friends and I left the lecture a few minutes early. From the high up view on a sort of balcony, we watched the hysterical intifada mob below us. They were about a hundred people or more.  Their leaders were often standing on tables, shouting slogans like 'From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free' or 'Viva viva Palestina'. You could feel their hatred from a distance.

As we made our way downstairs to exit the building, my short, firecracker female friend asked me if I want to enter the hall with the intifada mob. Without thinking I said yes and in we went. I had my Israeli flag with me of course. I bravely (read stupidly) started walking through the mob and doing a circle. I lost track of my friend as I paraded around the mob with a smile on my face and my flag held high. I think at first the mob was in shock to see an old Jewish guy walking through their mob by himself with an Israeli flag. No one knew I was there and I certainly had no protection. I was also wearing my old martial arts jacket from 30 years ago. I felt a sense of pride and a very uplifting feeling that I cannot describe. I almost made it through before their leader, a woman wearing a kaffiyeh (you can see her yelling in the video clip below), grabbed my flag and tried to rip it from my hands. Before I knew it there were dozens of other people all around me trying to pull the flag away and trying to pull me down. I went crazy and with my adrenaline pumping, fought them all off with the aim of holding on to the flag at all costs. Eventually the wooden spindle broke but I had my flag intact. Out of breath I ran to a nearby, bored security guard and asked if he saw what happened, that they tried to attack me and broke my flag. He didn't even say a word, just shrugged. Here's a pic of my flag:

Eventually I found my friends and at first we were going to be escorted out through a back door along with other Jewish attendees including members of the JDL (Jewish Defence League) who were on hand to help ensure that the event took place. The route was under construction and some of us (myself included) complained. It was our event. Why must we be treated like court Jews from medieval times, sneaking out through tunnels. I received the standard answer from the guard: 'You are free to leave via any exit you want but we can't guarantee your safety if you leave through the main exit'. I wanted to tell him that it's your job to protect us, so do your job but I shut my mouth. Eventually we did decide as a group to turn around and leave through the main exit. We left without incident.

Unless you were there, words can't explain the level of vile hatred we experienced. Many peaceful people who wanted to attend the lecture could not do so or would not do so due to the scare tactics of the intifada mob. York University's poor planning as to where the lecture would take place and lack of separation between the 2 sides was blatantly obvious. If a picture is worth a thousand words then a video is worth a million. Here is a short clip of the mob that I walked through on my own. I'm sure that G-d had my back. I got out unscathed and feeling proud:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9sZRPAWD1OI

I have been to many demonstration before but none with this intensity. There are many other videos now available on the internet to help you get a picture of what takes place on campus. Here is another good post.  I really did think I was in Gaza or Judea and Samaria (aka West Bank). Aboud, the Syrian refugee agrees. I feel very sorry for the Jewish students on campus who have to endure the intimidation and hate on a daily basis. During the lecture I offered my services to escort any Jewish student who is scared to go to classes. We found out that Hillel (the Jewish student body at York) wanted nothing to do with the lecture and in fact told Jewish students not to attend. Their equivalent group at University of Toronto did the same. They adopted what I call the shtetl mentality of keeping a low profile, hiding their kippot for those religious Jews that wear them in order not to cause any trouble. I understand the concept of not to incite violence. BTW, it is a Jewish concept. We have to weigh whether the benefit is worth the risk. It should be done on a case by case basis. In this case where we bring in people to inform the students at large, Christian, Muslim, Jews, atheists and others who are simply ignorant of the facts in the Middle East and the ongoing fighting there, I absolutely think that we have no choice. We must do it and support others who do. I know that in my case, I feel an even stronger connection to Israel now and to my brothers and sisters who defend Jews throughout the world. I'm sure others who attended did as well. I thank all those who attended and those who spread the word of what Jews  and Israel supporters are facing right here in 2019 in Toronto. The benefits did outweigh the risks!

My Letter to Sportsnet re: Firing of Hockey Icon Don Cherry

Don Cherry is a Canadian ice hockey icon. He's been involved in hockey either as a professional NHL player, coach or commentator for 65 years. He's brash and outspoken and that is his charm. I don't watch much hockey on TV nor am I in love with Don. I consider myself impartial.

Recently on the eve of Remembrance Day he made some comments on his TV show called Coach's Corner where he chastised people for not wearing the poppy which symbolizes Remembrance Day. He has a history of supporting Canadian war vets who sadly rely on the small donations that people give to buy a poppy on this important day.

Here is a link to the video of his short talk on TV that ultimately got him fired from his current employer Sportsnet:  video

After hearing him being lambasted by our entire mainstream media, on social media, thrown under the bus by his colleague on the show and by just about every radio show I decided to write the following letter to his former employer. Listening to all of this, one would think that he killed someone. BTW: feel free to write them a letter at: feedback@sportsnet.rogers.com

Dear Sir/Madam,

I agree with Don Cherry! Not only was he right about some Canadians, especially some immigrants not paying enough attention to Remembrance Day, we have an obligation to educate them about our war vets. About how they saved us from real evil bigots who wanted to take over the world and silence those of us who disagreed.

Don Cherry could have used different words to tell his message but an excellent  communicator, he is not.

Nevertheless, he was speaking the truth from his heart as usual. I see it everywhere in Toronto as well. In the work place we constantly celebrate diversity. We are forced to learn about Black History (for a solid month). We put in many days of serious effort celebrating all sorts of cultures and religions with elaborate displays and events. Some immigrants take good advantage of our warm Canadian generosity, gaming the system and overextending our benefits of all kinds. Some are quick to push for private prayer rooms at the work place. But at those same organizations where employers put on excellent annual Remembrance Day presentations, I don’t see many of those people attending.

While using an ATM at the bank today, at least 3 people came in (yes they were new to Canada) who had no idea why the bank was closed. I made an effort to explain to them but they weren’t the least bit interested.

Many young people don’t know much about the great wars, the Holocaust or how our Canadian Armed Forces played a role in defending the free world. How they suffered and continue to suffer because our PM and our leftists in Canada don't seem to care about them.

Many Canadians of all colours and ages no nothing about Flanders fields or the significance of the poppy. They might have taught it at our schools years ago but I doubt that they do it anymore because our system is rigged against Canadian nationalism.

If Don wasn't a Conservative right winger, the extreme outrage perpetuated by our main stream media would never have happened. Case in point is our PM who wore black face numerous times, was caught groping numerous times, said that French Quebecers are better than English Canadians numerous times, gave millions of dollars to a convicted Muslim terrorist and even got away with interfering with a criminal case before the attorney general (aka SNC-Lavalin affair).

Don Cherry should be congratulated for having the courage to bring up this unspoken but important issue, not chastised or fired. You at Sportsnet missed a great teaching opportunity and missed the point entirely.

Some Jews are the Cause of Antisemitism

I've been stewing about this topic for a long time now. If you are Jewish (like me) you might not want to hear it. I bet you can guess what/who I'm talking about.

No doubt we are a special people. We are often the leaders of various organizations, corporations and even countries despite our tiny population. In the US today, the Democratic party and the MSM (mainstream media) are trying their best to impeach President Trump. A duly elected president who not only did nothing wrong but did in fact does everything right. The economy is booming like never before. Job growth is through the roof. His foreign policy has made the world a safer place and has put America back on the map as the world leader it once was.

The scary thing (especially if you happen to be Jewish) is that some of the leaders of this latest attempted coup are Jewish. Namely:

Adam Schiff, Chair of the House Intelligence Committee

Jerrold Nadler, Chair of the House Judiciary Committee

Bernie Sanders, Senator and presidential candidate

George Soros, Chairman of Open Society Foundations

Micheal Bloomberg, Former mayor of New York City

Dianne Feinstein, Senator,

Brad Sherman, US Representative

Eliot Engel, US Representative

Debbie Wasserman Shultz, US Representative

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook

Jeff Zucker, CEO of CNN

Andrew Lack, Chairman of NBC News and MSNBC

Michael Cohen, former attorney for President Trump and convicted felon

I could go on but I'll stop here. You can see that these are powerful people both in government and in private business. Some are multi-billionaires. I'm sure that most of you either know these people or know the companies they run. Who doesn't use FB? I admit that some on this list are more active in the pursuit of kicking Trump out of office (like shifty Adam Schiff) while others are helping to do it behind the scenes or are helping to do it simply by denouncing him to their followers. In all cases they are certainly influential people.

Now here's the point and why it scares me and why it should scare you.

If I was an American who happened to vote for Trump or even someone who didn't vote for Trump in the previous election but likes the fact that he/she now has a good job and can finally afford to support their family and plans to vote for him in 2020, I would be extremely upset about this latest coup attempt to 'impeach' him based on pretty much nothing (again). Next year there will be an election and for those who don't like him, they can attempt to vote him out. That's how democracies are supposed to work. But as we all know, they are scared that he'll win again so the only way to get him out of office is to impeach him now, before the election.

Now please re-read the previous paragraph and insert the word Gentile in front of the word 'American' in the first sentence. It's well known who some of the leaders of the coup are because they are constantly in the news. It's also easy to find out what religion these people are, thanks to the internet. So if I was that Gentile American who supports Trump and democracy I might start hating Jews. After all, it's these powerful Jews who are leading the charge to destroy the rule of law and throw out a sitting president. Even if I was never an antisemite before, I would consider becoming one now. That's partly how Hitler made his case. He pointed out to Germans that there are powerful and wealthy Jews running the show while the rest of the hard working Gentile citizens could barely make ends meet. This is how Holocausts start.

Along with all of these powerful Jews there is the majority of American Jews who consistently vote Democrat including most non-orthodox Jewish rabbis. This group, for the most part, seems quite happy to follow the herd and go along with the latest impeachment scam. They are complicit. Again this fact is also widely available to the public. All it would take is some David Duke -like person to point this out to Americans and we (Jews) could be in big trouble.

We need to distance ourselves from these Jewish leaders and instead support the wonderful Jewish leaders who do follow the Constitution and the rule of law. We need to denounce these terrible Jewish leaders now and make it clear to all Americans and people everywhere, exactly where we stand. And it sure as hell isn't with these self hating, dangerous Jews.

Enough Talk, Time to Prosecute!

I recently read a couple of articles that said exactly what I was thinking of late.

This one is certainly worth the read:

https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2019/10/will_we_ever_prosecute.html

If you don't want to read it, allow me to sum it up for you in the proper sequence:

1. There are still many Democrats and others in the Deep State who are doing their best to stop those new prosecutors from the Trump administration era from doing their job.

2. Investigating a super complex, multi-year, all encompassing treason fulled, ongoing coup against a sitting president takes time.

3. But in a situation like this, one need not get all the facts on all the players before prosecution begins. Would I love it if the big wigs in the Deep State, like former president Obama, former secretary of state Clinton, leaders of the CIA, FBI, IRS and others were in jail? Of course! But given the nature of this situation, it's not only okay not to wait years until all of the facts on all the players come out. It's incumbent on us to start prosecuting the smaller players who have clearly broken the law, asap!

4. By not prosecuting anyone (the big players or the little ones) we send them all a message that they are free to commit more crimes, and it's obvious that they have received the message and continue their coup with their latest impeachment scam.

I couldn’t agree more. In fact after realizing that my inbox is loaded with hundreds of articles about  the hundreds or thousands of laws broken by hundreds or thousands of bad people (most are obviously Dems) attempting coup after coup I have had enough.

I’ve lost my appetite to know all the details. I’m tired of hearing about Biden and his son. I’m tired of hearing about crooked Hillary. Haven’t heard much negativity about Obama because the Trump administration doesn’t want to lose the black vote. So I’m quite happy to hear the real important facts about the leader of the deep state (Obama) but I doubt I will.

I really am sick and tired of hearing about the low lives Tlaib, Omar, Cortez every time they make a peep. I understood exactly who they were and what they wanted to do after hearing them once. As far as I’m concerned we are giving them way too much air time. There is a fine line between informing the public about evil persons and helping evil persons get their message out to help pervert the public.  I'm afraid we've crossed that line. By publishing every silly word that comes out of their mouths we will eventually ignore the really important things that they say or do.

Mostly I'm tired of hearing about how the attorney general Barr and his team will tear apart the Democratic party and put all the bad guys in jail when they haven't even put one of the low level operatives in jail after 3 years!  It's sounding like the same old, same old.

Enough talk. If we don't prosecute the guilty parties now, we will lose our chance to ever do so. There is only 1 year left. The guilty parties are running around free to commit more crimes. In fact they are encouraged to do so. Given enough time, some of the guilty parties and or witnesses to their crimes will simply disappear.

It's not Trump's job to focus on them in terms of prosecuting them. He is a very busy guy. He's probably one of the hardest working presidents in history. Changing the direction of the economy with regards to trade, manufacturing, red tape, immigration and jobs towards an incredible upwards line, not seen before, takes a lot of work by the president and that's what he is razor focused on, as he should be. That was the platform he ran on and he is keeping his promise.

The rest of the country's government, must do this and they must be pushed to do their job by the citizens of the United States and others who want justice. Tweets by the president won't get it done. Certainly the mainstream media won't get it done. Even Fox News can't get it done.

Start off by getting the little guys. The big guys can't commit crimes without the aid of the little guys.
I guarantee you that as soon as just one of them gets indicted or better yet put in jail, the rest will fall quickly. Cowards usually do.

9-11: Have we not learned anything?

Did the world change for you after 9-11? It absolutely changed for me. I was always a defender of Israel and of my people. I knew from a young age that the Jewish people were under attack, always were and probably always will be.

But after 9-11 I thought I finally had the scary proof that my fears were warranted and proceeded to delve further as a Jewish activist. Turns out that I was taken aback about how many fellow people including my own Jewish  family and cousins who didn’t have the faintest idea of what I was talking about and probably thought I was nuts (and some probably still do).

I had just finished working on a government contract (it was the first and only time that I worked for 2 months and got totally ripped off - never got paid) with a colleague who got me the ‘contract’ and worked for free as well. It was a sunny day here in Toronto as well as in New York city. He called me on the phone (maybe the only time he did so) to tell me to turn on the TV. When I did, I had no idea what I was watching. It took a few minutes to blink away the shock until it finally hit home. We were under attack and the world just changed direction forever (backwards).

You gotta love congresswoman, Omar’s description of 9-11: ‘ some people did something’. Or how about the NY Times ‘planes crashed into the twin towers’ - no mention of Islamic terrorists who actually killed all those innocent people. Planes don't kill people on their own. Have we not learned a thing?

When Donald Trump proposed on TV to temporarily halt Muslim immigration to the US until 'we figure this out' I knew then and there that he is exactly what the American citizens and the world needed. As it turned out, the list of Muslim countries that the Trump administration proposed to limit immigrants from was quite similar to his predecessor's Obama. But of course the MSM and the Democratic party ignored that glaring fact and jumped all over Trump for being (amongst other things) an islamophobe.

If G-d forbid my people in Israel were responsible for most of the world wide terror, I too would expect my government to limit immigration from there. It's called common sense. Nothing at all to do with racism.

Well before this terrible terrorist attack I was quite worried (to say the least) that the very real threat of Islamic terror was expanding at an exponential rate. Most Muslim countries were vying for the leadership of their people to dominate the world using all means possible (terror just being one of them).

When I saw videos of tens of thousands of fanatical Muslim armies armed to the teeth in so many countries especially in the Middle East I knew that I had to get the word out. You can see some of my old blogs where I focussed on this imminent danger. What shocked me then was the ongoing theme that most good people in the West were either totally oblivious to this threat or worse, they refused to even look into it. They stuck their heads in the sand and sadly many continue to do so.

One can easily find all sorts of accurate information about our enemies. Check out this recent video about Iran's military: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqoiTzZYDEQ

I am writing this blog today after watching a 'documentary' on 9-11 the other day. I thought that it's well worth remembering. Some of the footage of the collapse of the twin towers was mind blowing and I don't recall ever seeing it before. But after a while I had to switch channels. Why? Because some of the people interviewed were recanting stories of how they or others were called out for being Muslim while they were running for safety after the attack. Is that the message that  we should be sending to millions of people (many of whom were too young to even know what happened) who were watching this 'documentary' on the anniversary of 9-11?

If in fact some racist comments were made in the heat of the worst terrorist attack ever committed on US soil, I'm sorry. But that should not have been the focus on that TV special at all. What was not mentioned  was that nightmare was perpetrated by Muslim terrorists in their fight to dominate the world. Can you see how the narrative sprung from day one of this attack, was to defend Islam and Muslims? President Bush at the time said that Islam represents peace and his prime concern seemed to protect his partners in oil, the Saudis as he covertly snuck them out of the country even while there was an air traffic ban at the time.

So I'm here to tell you that we still need to focus our attention to the millions of radical Muslims both in and outside of our own borders. Nope, climate change is not the world's biggest threat. Please keep your eyes on the ball. We need to be vigilant for the sake of our grand children.

What a learning opportunity lost (again)!

Was Trump Wrong to Suggest That AOC & her Buddies Should Leave?

If your were black and some racist member of Congress publicly stated that blacks are corrupt, powerful elitists who attempt to control the world and especially the US government and only care about themselves and money, surely there would be a united front condemning such behaviour.
I don’t think anyone would object if anyone would demand that that congressperson be dismissed, charged and deported (if they came from another country).

But as we have seen on multiple occasions, AOC and her gang of anti-American, antisemitic, anti-white, anti-male, anti-Christian friends (Ilhan Omar, Tlaib and others) have all been guilty of all of the adjectives I just listed including silencing dissent, voting for socialism, open borders, throw Israel to the wolves and many other dangerous and insane economic and security policies. And for the most part they have so far successfully gotten away with it.

In particular the despicable things that have come out of Omar’s mouth would certainly cause me to chant ‘Send her back’. If someone wants me and people like me (Jews, people who support Israel and Trump) dead, then why wouldn’t I want her out of my country?

I agree with the president 100% on his political incorrect comment: Send her back. Does it sound like some of the comments made by many extreme leftists (like AOC et all) or right wing bigots?

Maybe superficially. As we all know, president Trump has been called a racist and worse, every day of his presidency. Perhaps some of his comments and/or tweets were not presidential and one might even condemn some of his comments as possibly racist. But on this issue he is 100% correct.

When these congresswomen spewed nasty antisemitic comments in public, the mainstream media (MSM), the Democratic party and others for the most part were silent. When pushed by the American people to condemn their remarks, the party leaders refused. Again the MSM were quiet. But when the president called these women out for their antisemitism he is the racist.

I thank G-d that my neighbour to the south has a president who has the courage to call out antisemitism when he sees it. I can’t wait for the day when my Leftist, dangerous, nutcase PM in Canada is finally ousted and is replaced by someone with some smarts, wisdom and courage to take back our country. Dare I say someone  ‘Trumplike’ ?

Is Trump's ME 'peace plan' a Waste of Time?

I love Trump but that said, he and his administration are not that different from all previous US administrations in their limited understanding of Muslims. Especially those in the Middle East. Abbas like all previous PLO leaders before him (that was meant as a joke as there was only one - Arafat) do not want peace. Like all dictatorships they thrive when their people suffer.

Jared Kushner excited about his ME economic plan

Although I can't blame the Trump team (Kushner et al) for trying but I do find it frustrating to think that after decades of dealing with the worlds greatest enemy (Islam - no offence for those wonderful Muslims who sadly comprise a small minority) we still haven't figured that out. I of course recognize that I am not privy to the details of the now infamous 'plan' nor do I know the rational for it. I do appreciate one thing though. Their attempt to buy the arabs. Perhaps the one thing they like more than killing Jews is money. That said, we have been throwing tons of money at them for decades. Billions of dollars a year that is from the US, Europe, Iran, the Gulf States and practically every Western country in the world including of course my very left leaning country (currently that is), Canada. Has it worked? Has this money helped resolve any issues or has it been used by the terrorist dictatorships like the PA, PLO and Hamas to line their pockets and to finance terror? So even this ploy won't work.

Sure it's nice to read about the Saudis, Bahrain and a few others coming to the table and supporting the plan including possibly footing the bill. But despite me agreeing with most Muslim states that this exercise is a big waste of time (probably the only time I've agreed with them on anything) I feel it's dangerous and the wrong approach. Why are we always rewarding bad behaviour? We shouldn't negotiate with terrorists. It never works out in the end. Abbas and his administration along with Hamas should be treated as the criminals they are and should be put in prison. Instead of giving criminal terrorists tons of money in the hopes to appease them, we should defund them immediately.

I'm sure you've been in this situation before; A poor guy on the street who amongst other things is an alcoholic, begs for money with a sign that says I'm hungry. If you give him some money, do you really thing he'll buy food with it or do you think he'll buy booze? This situation is no different except for the dangerous consequence it purports.

President Trump has proven that he is a tough negotiator at all levels. I would have hoped that he'd remain so with Abbas who is no less a criminal than his predecessor Arafat was. I think that Trump has been influenced by his somewhat naive son in law on this and hopefully after it becomes obvious that it in fact was a complete waste of time and effort, Trump will use another approach. A big stick comes to mind.

What should we make of the election and the parallels of both US and Israel

Bibi won the election in Israel. Mazel Tov!

I was pretty nervous about the elections in Israel just like I was about the previous US election. Both elections seem to behave oddly very similarly. The mainstream, leftist media in both countries were often predicting that the left leader would win. In the US, Hilary was to be the next president. Gantz was to be Israel's next president. Hilary was Secretary of State under president Obama and of course was the wife of former president Bill Clinton. She was certainly a politician of high importance in the US cabinet. She was a shoe in to win. She had Obama and his administration behind her. And of course lots of money behind her from billionaires like George Soros, Bezos and too many others to note here now. Thankfully she lost. And cried about it. In fact she and many of her Democrat followers still think that she won.

Benny Gantz was Israeli's Chief of Staff in the IDF for many years. A position no less important than Hilary's in the US. I don't know why retired Israeli generals think they'd make good politicians and in Israel's case make great leaders. There are many cases to prove my point. Ariel Sharon, Ehud Barak & Yitzhak Rabin come to mind. They were great soldiers and generals but as PM's - not so much.
Benny Gantz partnered with Yair Lapid who I despise. His only policy was/is to enlist the religious into the IDF. He inherited this self hating trait from his father. I can understand those Israelis who want everyone to serve but Lapid is not doing this for altruistic reasons. Gantz himself had no real policies to speak of other than handing land to Israel's enemies. In any case I'm sure many Israelis, especially the leftists in Tel Aviv still think Gantz and Lapid won.

The ongoing attacks and what I would call an attempted coup with the Russian collusion hoax against president Trump and the ongoing cigar-gate indictments on PM Netanyahu are again scarily similar.
Both leaders are arguably the most important leaders in the free world. Both countries cannot afford to make serious mistakes or else we'll all suffer. On foreign affairs they've done incredible things. Trump has stopped the Iran deal and is slowly squeezing Iran to death. Bibi has kept Israel alive despite intense efforts by existential enemies on all front trying to wipe her off the map. The economies of both countries are doing extremely well.

Unlike the States, many of Israeli's younger generation lean to the Right. The method that elections are held in Israel are quite different than in the US especially with their dozens of parties that form alliances in order to get the majority of votes required to win. So in Bibi's case he allied himself with a few right wing parties and religious parties in order to win despite the close vote between his Likud party and Gantz's new Blue and White party. Trump's win over Hilary's was equally close.

I couldn't imagine the damage that would be caused had Gantz won and again thank G-d he didn't!
Likewise the damage to the US and the world would be terrible had a Democrat won.
The great news is this: The Left in Israel is on the ropes. Israel's official leftist party, Labour is all but deceased. There are many excellent potential leaders on Israel's right. Naftali Bennett, Shaked, Yehuda Glick, Caroline Glick, Baraket, Feiglin,, Smotrich are just a few (notice no generals). None exist on the left. Remember Herzog and Livni? I don't either.

Similarly in the US the Left is in big trouble. Although they have dozens of potential candidates, none are serious contenders. Sanders, although he could have and perhaps should have beaten Hilary is slowly disappearing into dust. Biden, Cuomo, O'rourke, Harris, Warren and other no names are all a joke and have no chance to beat Trump in 2020.

Although in previous articles I've criticized both Trump and Bibi, it was done only because I wanted them to succeed. And they certainly have!

Here are 3 comments about Bibi from Righteous Gentiles who I know only via the internet:

John D, a military doctor and lawyer who was present when the Muslim terrorist went crazy in Fort Hood (and I doubt anyone could have said this any better):

"Israel cannot afford too many leftists.People don't understand the serious nature of Bibi--who, compared to any other national leader, has personal experience with war, has intellectual heft, and I would suspect has a depth of understanding of intell/foreign affairs that would be hard to match in national leaders around the world.  Israel is lucky to have him. "

Richard F, a DC lawyer:

"Most of all, the guy exhibits a moral clarity unmatched on the world stage. Just replay a few of his speeches given right here in the USA.  They’re like diamonds."

Boyd C, from Canada:

"Bibi is one of the greatest leaders in the world and our wimp PM (Trudeau) should support (Israel) like Harper did."

If only Jews the world over would understand that despite their faults, both Bibi and Trump are fantastic world leaders and like Churchill should be appreciated to the fullest.

The Silence is Deafening

Many of us Jews have experienced some form of antisemitism at some point. In Israel, the modern day Jew there rarely experiences the same kind of antisemitism that we in the diaspora do. Theirs is both better and worse.

Worse because of the very real existential threats Israelis face every day simply because they are Jewish. When their children go to a discotheque they may never return home. When their children serve in the IDF they may return home missing arms or legs or again never even make it home.

Better because they don't face the often over looked and sometimes even subliminal antisemitic behaviour that we in the West often face. I've certainly been subjected to it, right here in the freedom loving, liberal, democratic state of Canada. Both as a child getting beaten up because I was Jewish and as an adult who was denied jobs because I wrote in my resume that I lived on a kibbutz in Israel.

My good Israeli friend who migrated to Canada years ago from Israel along with his wife said that he wanted to bring his parents along. His father who suffered in the Holocaust and faced plenty of vile antisemitism in Poland prior to the war (what Jew didn't?)  told him that he's had enough with the goyim. So my friend moved here and had the pleasure of confronting our style of antisemitism head on. I befriended him because he was being attacked on all sides at work. By some of his co-workers and by his bosses. I helped represent him at hearings. In the end he was pushed out of his job.

I mention this case because it's more common that one would think. These cases of antisemitism are not mentioned in the mainstream media. In fact they are not mentioned in any media (except for here). Why? Because they are so commonplace and because Jews don't like playing the victim despite that victimhood theology being the fad these days. After the Holocaust most Jews moved to Israel and built a thriving, beautiful country. With hard work and courage they made the desert bloom while simultaneously defended themselves from yet another possible genocide from their Arab neighbours. Of all the people in the world that could have played the victim card, surely those Holocaust survivors could have played it. They suffered what thankfully very few people in history have. They could have sought revenge. They could have sat on their asses and waited for people to help them with food, lodging, shelter, welfare. I doubt too many people would condemn them if they did. But they did not. The Jews like my folks who miraculously survived the worst event in modern history left Europe with their heads high and started new lives all over the world. With empty pockets and a will to live, most led successful lives, built families, households and business and thrived. Rarely did they ask for help and next to none ever portrayed themselves as victims once they arrived at their new homes.

One of the things they learned first hand (whether they wanted to or not) was about antisemitism. Some of us learn about antisemitism from an academic point of view. I'm happy of that but learning about it from a book is not nearly the same thing as facing it in real life. A generation or two later and the yearning to really understand antisemitism and the fight to take it on, has waned.

Today it has once again become so commonplace that it has gained a form of mainstream acceptance. One look no further than the most Jewish friendly country in the world outside of Israel, the United States. Mass shootings of Jews while praying in a US synagogue is certainly an obvious and painful example. More insulting however was blaming the most pro-Jewish president for that heinous crime.

Congress women Ilhan Omar who's photo was posted at my daughter's government office in Toronto for Women's Day

And now we have many people in the US government who are blatant antisemites. To put it in perspective, there have always been antisemites in the US government and dare I say that there always will be. But I believe we've reached a new level. Three congresswomen, two of which are radical Muslims who have publicly stated in one form or another their wish to destroy Israel, too many senators to name, an attorney general and others who are running for president are all antisemites. One by one they are coming out of the closet to attack Israel, Israel's democratically elected PM and anyone who supports the Jewish State.

Some prominent Jewish Democrats like Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz have spoken out against the antisemitic congresswomen Omar and Tlaib. That's great Alan. When they were first elected to congress in your party (the party of hate) you thought so naively that diversity is great. Jews like me thought that when you elect radical Muslims to government there is a strong chance that Jews will be attacked. You give your 3 minute speeches condemning them when you can get interviewed on mainstream media. But why are you still a Democrat party member, let alone vote for some of the worst Democrat leaders like Obama? Heck you were doing his advocacy for him for both his terms as an obvious anti-Israel president. I guess it helped your career because whenever there is any antisemitic event you seem to be the go to person to get interviewed on the news.

Jewish Senator Chuck Schumer, who often has much to say about everything is silent with regards to his fellow antisemitic congresspeople. In fact he was no where to be found when Pelosi, the leading Democrat, was trying to decide what to do about the vile antisemitic tropes that kept coming out of the mouths of her recently appointed congress women.

Jewish senator and G-d forbid, possible US president, Bernie Sanders defends these women. I wrote him off as a self hating Jew years ago and I was 100% right. There are many other prominent Jewish senators, and members of Congress and others in government who are also silent or almost silent.

Why? The short answer: they are scared. One would think that after what the Jews suffered not too many years ago in Europe, that people of all faiths would come together to defend Jews from antisemites and fight hard to stop them in their tracks. But why should non-Jews attack antisemites when Jewish leaders do not? These Jewish 'leaders' are shameful in their collusion with these antisemites. They are a kind of modern day kapo. You know antisemitism has arrived not when Muslim congresspeople slur Jews in public, but when the Jews in their same party (as if I have to say it -Democrats) are silent and cowering in fear. The silence is deafening.

It's Not a Good Time to be Jewish

To be clear, it's never easy to be Jewish. History has proved this in spades. But there were times when it was easier and times when it was harder.

I don't want to cry wolf just yet. After all, I am Jewish, married a Jewish wife and have Jewish children and children in law. I live in Toronto which is definitely a Jew friendly place to live compared to the many hell holes throughout the world where I could not live and my family could not live as Jews.

I have many non-Jewish friends here and they are all what I consider to be Righteous Gentiles.
Of course I have many more Jewish friends and family too. Some are left wing politically and some are right wing and some are apolitical all together.

Have I personally experienced antisemitism right here in Jew friendly Toronto? You bet I have. Even from a young age. But what we are seeing today around the globe is pretty damned scary. The ongoing existential war on our Jewish state is still in progress and the enemies seem to be ramping up. Just to be clear, they are not attacking Israelis. They are attacking Jews who live in Israel and anyone else who supports them. It's not about land. It's simply antisemitism of the worst kind.

The situation in Israel is scary especially given that their elected leader PM Netanyahu has been under investigation for years and has finally been indicted by his enemies on the Left. So rather than him being focused on Iran, Hamas, Syria, Russia, Hezbolah, the PA, the EU, the UN and too many other enemies to mention here, he has to fight off the enemies within and defend himself on frivolous charges like taking too many cigars as gifts. It's beyond disgusting. Like President Trump he is being attacked 24/7. I'm not even Bibi's best fan as I prefer Naftalie Bennett with Ms. Shaked and Ms. Glick. But even I see the attacks against this legitimate war hero, super intelligent and well spoken Jewish leader as beyond the pale. May G-d help him!

Looking at my neighbour to the south, (US) I find it no less disturbing for the Jews who live there. I thought it couldn't get worse than when Obama was in charge. But I was wrong. With powerful antisemites in top government spots like Keith Ellison, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Alexandrea Ocasio-Cortez, it's hard not to be concerned.  On top of this we have others in government who not only do not condemn these haters but instead support them. Some are even Jewish! Like Chuck Shumer and Bernie Sanders. The old  hag who is the official leader of the Democratic party, Nancy Pelosi wouldn't dare to condemn her appointees for their blatant antisemitic remarks. She probably planned to admonish them but was read the riot act by these young Muslim politician women and of course Pelosi went back to counting her money.

These powerful government leaders have been elevated to the status of rock stars. Look at the poster women on the Rolling Stone cover:

IF they are shaping the future (and they are) then the future is not bright for the Jews and certainly not bright for America and for the world. If you are Jewish and continue to support the Democrats in the States then you are committing suicide or at the very least making life for your children extremely difficult if not impossible.

The mainstream media like CNN refuse to call out their government representatives for their gross antisemitism. They are too busy on the witch hunt to impeach Trump. So who will? Some nobody Canadian guy like me? Hell yes but since I'm a nobody it won't count for much.

Look around the world for a moment and you'll find more of the disgusting same. Have you seen the floats in a parade in Belgium depicting religious Jews with big noses amongst rats and bags of money? Here's a pic:

The really scary part is that despite an absolutely pro-Israel and philo-semite in President Trump, the United States is in a dangerous place right now. The Democratic party who most Jews consistently vote for and who for the most part were rooting for Israel have now turned on Israel and turned on Jews. And no one seems to give a crap.

Kill Him

I hope you noticed that I didn't end the title of my post 'Kill Him' with an exclamation mark. I want to leave any emotions out of this discussion.

If you haven't as yet guessed who I want to kill, why it's the Arab terrorist, Arafat Irfaiya, who was recently arrested for having raped, mutilated and murdered a sweet, young, Israeli girl of 19 years of age. If you don't live in Israel (I don't), you might not have heard about this as it has yet to be reported by the mainstream media. So disgusting. But here in Canada when a young Muslim girl made up a story about her hijab being cut off by a man, the story went viral within hours, even our own PM cried about Islamophobia within an hour of the hoax.

Ori Ansbacher was Jewish as you might expect (however you could just as easily been wrong because many sweet young, Arabic girls are also raped, mutilated and murdered as a result of their legal practise of Honour Killing) in fact she was a religious Jew. Her father was a rabbi and I doubt that she ever intentionally killed an ant in her entire short life.

It's funny that just as I'm writing this, I am getting emotional. I can see that this will be a battle for me. I must keep my emotions out of this.

I best get on with my point or I'll lose it, lose you and lose the battle.

THE point is that once he's found guilty (which he probably is - 99.999% since he not only confessed to the crime, he reenacted it out to the police, there is DNA evidence and video camera evidence) then his punishment should be death. I don't care how they do it. But they absolutely must kill him. Israel has the death penalty. They've rarely used it. I do recall watching the Eichmann trial on TV when I was just a kid. Even then I knew what was going on. A very evil man was going to die as fair punishment for what he did. I'm sure I wasn't the only one who watched it. Have we all been affected by it to the point that we either all want to kill people who we think deserve it or perhaps we will refuse to ever kill another human being because of it? Obviously neither. Eichmann was put on trial, found guilty by an abundance of evidence and killed because of the horrific things he did. We don't kill everyone who killed someone, just the extremely horrific cases. I understood this straightforward concept as a child and I certainly understand it now. Please note that I'm not making a case for capital punishment here. That is an entirely different discussion. I happen to believe in it but that is besides the point. As I mentioned, Israel believes in capital punishment. It's on their books.

I think this case meets the horrific standard. I urge you to watch this super short video clip of the 'suspect':

Beyond his smirk he is daring at you to look at him in the eyes. Looking at evil is not easy. One can see the scratch marks on his face where poor Ori was trying to defend herself from this killer.

Back to the point. Israel has a moral obligation to do this. When you are staring at evil in the face and you and everyone else bloody knows it, you must do your best to extinguish it forever. That last part after the 'and' is very important.  I'm not asking you to take the law in your own hands, quite the opposite.  I'm demanding that you follow the law. Your law.

He can't possibly be found insane because every Arab who has been brainwashed as a child to hate and murder Jews can be considered insane. After the crime they are never remorseful. They are proud of their actions. Their family who protects them almost always decry their innocence.

In Israel's case she has many more valid reasons to do it. The Arabs that go by the name of Palestinians and their other tribesmen and terrorist organizations like the PLO, PA, PFLP, Hamas, Hezbollah, and too many countries to mention are in some cult like hatred (in general and in the extreme regarding Jews). A day doesn't go by when an Israeli is attacked or worse.

It's way past time to send them a profound message that we will no longer accept the status quo. Murdering, raping and mutilating young, defenceless Jewish girls will no longer be tolerated. Nor will stabbing Jewish babies to death or chopping off heads. Neither must we simply ignore the millions of dollars of rewards that are given by the Arab leaders (aka our 'peace partners') to these murderers and their families.

I may not be a religious Jew in practise but I believe in G-d. And so I fear that if we do not put this remnant of Amalek down forever we will pay a terrible price.

In Defense of the Haredim

I am a secular Jew in Canada but despite this I can be objective to the case of the Haredim. Serving in the IDF is important. But no less so is keeping Judaism alive (maybe even more so). What would you prefer: That Israel turn into a secular state with a powerful army or remain a viable army with a strong Jewish identity?  I for one choose the latter. I've seen first hand how many left leaning politicians like Yair Lapid have tried to polarize Israeli society by blowing up this issue far more than it is purely for political purposes. It’s easy to make a case of a son or daughter who died or was injured in battle and cry that your Haredi neighbour’s children remain safe. But I also know of many secular, hippie type Jews who refuse to serve in the IDF. There seemed to be no legal repercussions for them. The truth is far more complex than meets the eye.

Here are some salient facts:

1. Wars are fought differently than they were even 20 years ago. Manpower is no longer a requirement. Wars are fought with intelligence, drones, electronics, satellites, robots and various weapon systems. I have read articles (not published broadly) about problems of over enlistment. Many make work projects are being employed just to keep those serving busy.

2. Do you really want to force a yeshiva bachur into battle? Most of these young men have never killed an ant and would certainly find it difficult if not impossible to shoot a human being. I for one would not entrust such a person to have my back on the war front. This is not to say for one moment that religious Jews can't fight. There are way too many examples to mention here but here is a short list: Moshe Reabbeinu, Joshua, King David, King Solomon, The Maccabees, etc. Some of us are born to fight, some of us are born to study.

3. So far most young Haredi men who have enlisted have lost their faith after serving. This is a big issue. This is often caused by the IDF's refusal to take religious requirements into account. Added to this but often overlooked and under reported is the negative stigma attached to these Haredim by secular Jewish members of the IDF. Even many orthodox soldiers (they are often members of Kippot Serugot) are the ones guilty of condemning the Haredim. If they can be both religious and serve then why can't the Haredim? The answer is that there are different levels of Jewish practise. Some of us are Jews in tradition only (ie. we eat lux and bagels therefore we are Jewish), some are reform, conservative, orthodox, egalitarian, ultra orthodox, secular, you name it. I don't judge any of them. I belong in there somewhere. I value all of us. But the Haredim are at the highest level of keeping the flame of the Torah alive. There have been some Haredi battalions developed recently but there is a lot more work to be done. Forcing the entire Haredi community to serve asap would certainly be a disaster. Be careful what you ask for.

4. Many of us can understand why some brilliant scientists or even artists and politicians are exempt from service in some cases. This has been the case in many wars throughout time. We admit that we really can't afford to lose such people in war. So why can't Jews appreciate the special gifts that Haredim offer us? Even our first modern day PM, David Ben Gurion recognized this.

5.  One might suggest that the Haredim that find military service abhorrent and soul wrenching, should do their service behind the scenes instead of on the war front. That is certainly a viable option except that many on the left including the extreme left supreme court would still consider this unfair and eventually would demand that no special treatment should be offered to them.

6. Most principals of yeshivot today will instruct parents of yeshiva students who are not taking their study serious to enlist their sons in the IDF. Studying in a yeshiva is not a party. It’s serious business, no less so than serving in the IDF. While many secular Jews say how nice it would be to evade service by studying in a Yeshiva, I know they don’t mean it. They haven’t visited the dank, dark, poorly equipped Yeshiva’s where thousands of young boys have been separated from their families and study for long hours, day after day, year after year.

7. Finally and most importantly, without the Haredim, Judaism would disappear in 2 generations! Say what you will about them and their ’strange’ customs (strange to you that is) but if you care at all about being Jewish and keeping our incredible religion alive for future generations, we absolutely need them. Between secular Jews either outright leaving the religion and/or simply not caring about Judaism and our high intermarriage rate and our low birth rate, Haredim have an incredible burden put upon them. They often live modest lives and have many children, thank G-d! Instead of giving them credit for this, we attack them.

Until such time as the Supreme Court and other government leaders and IDF leaders abandon their attacks on the Haredim and prove that they can be trusted, the situation will not change. Once it does, I can see that point 5 above should solve a lot of issues. At that point in time many Haredi young men would gladly offer their services manning drones, developing military software, digging ditches, cleaning toilets, etc. We must find a way to support each other or at least tolerate each other.  The truth is that so far the current complex and cloudy system mostly works. We must be careful not to break it. We need moderate and compassionate leaders on both sides to work together to keep it stable and successful. Am Yisroel Chai!
